yo the drag DOES change outside of build mode; so trailmakers calculates the aero of every exposed block, but if you move it so less of those exposed blocks are facing forwards it will stop registering the ones no longer facing forward, if you move the drag up it will again move center of drag up. The thing trailmakers doesnt do however, is calculate aero of blocks that were originally covered, hence zero drag glitch. The zero drag glitch actually wouldnt work if it did it like you said because it would just assume that the blocks you added in front are still there aerodynamically. Basically, if you rotate your build so every side faces the arrow, all the aerodynamic arrows were calculated, and can be changed. If there are no arrows, then that block will never have aerodynamics. Hope that explains it
Hey all, I love this co-op stuff you guys do! I do have a question. I have all the parts save one, the armored seat. Does anyone know where that is? The crate isn't show on my map.
What if you and Kan made an airlift heli. One of you in a heli and the other in some other vehicle. Another cool idea similar to that is: What if you had a player guided missile that one of you sits in and controls, and the missile is launched from another vehicle the other person controls?
if kans osprey cant fly with 1 rotor he didnt build it right lol those things can fly with only 1 rotor challenge: try and build either an osprey or a-10 with as much durability as the irl ones (a-10 can fly with 1 engine 1 elevator and 1 lift wing) can you guys do it? 😁
This is all about constantly building new vehicles. On my own series every episode I was showing off something different *along with how much of a noob I am to the game*
That VTOL with rockets on their engines needs to be landed like a rocket. If I'm understanding Kan's instructions right you need to hold 1 to shift the props to vertical, pitch up until you've negated your forward momentum, and alternate tapping ↑ ↓ to turn on/off your engines to control your descent. Definitely not the most user friendly or precise way to land, will take a lot of practice but a very cool plane design.
Kan's creation is just silly. He built a cargo vehicle into a combat vehicle, and it's a vtol which can't take off or land vertically. Toggle throttle too
