THM very nice howto, i got 4 of the black case when you first recommended it long ago.. thanks for the recommendation they are still running perfect, BTW did i miss the core wallet setup, i did not see that part in the video .. i may have missed it.
great video I had analyzed that the most profitable gpu was the rx 6600 but unfortunately in Portugal electricity is between 0.18-0.22 impossible to start
Great video! Kapow coins are really getting popular again and currently are some of the most profitable to mine. Thanks for your hard work and good advice.
How does that server case handle a hard hang? Can you remote power cycle or does that powersupply stay on and needs a hard cycle to get the rig back up?
Can you provide specs for the fan? What rpm/cfm is high flow fans? I have a server case I bought a long time ago and it has intake and exhaust fans but my car's run hotter in the case than outside of it, the fans are not that strong
One thing almost everyone foregets when calculating profits, is the is delivery charge on bill (which is almost as much as the electric bill). So in reality you would be making way less.
Do these motherboards/cpu have a high fail rate? In my years of mining with normal motherboards, I’ve occasional had the few boards that just went dead system doesn’t turn on, swap out the mobo n boom I can mine again. But what about these boards?
How much would a 3080 make a day? I'm planning on also getting into mining. Also, do you know any good "budget" psus with 4 12 pin connectors (Im going for 2 psus) with around 1500w?
Coin hopping isn't profitable. Someone who has a farm on multiple coins is different than us "hobby" miners who only have 1-2 rigs. My most profitable strategy has been switching to coins that have dipped in difficulty/hashrate and solo mining those for a bit.
The PSU is louder. The fans are quieter but it's nice to be able to adjust them. You don't buy server cases traditionally to be quiet. As when it's hot you want those fans roaring.
@@TheHobbyistMiner Agreed but as a home miner I'm hesitant to try them due to the noise. It would be cool to make a video on sound suppression techniques...like making some sort of enclosure using acoustic foam?
