Hi everyone! This video is a compilation of all 4 episodes of the Combat Robot project, in a more concise and shorter experience. This project took me 6 months to complete, and I scratch built it using mostly trash (junk bashing), some laser cut MDF pieces and styrene. It was painted with acrylic paint with an airbrush.

This was incredible! You have an amazing eye for detail. I am impressed you make the majority of this from laser off-cuts and styrene. Fantastic build, and great painting skills! I also want to thank you... When you mentioned that you went to a makerspace, I decided to look up Makerspaces in my area. I found one within 2 miles of my house. I don't know why it didn't dawn on me sooner to do that since I really want to rekindle my childhood obsession with plastic models and kitbashing, ever since I watched the first star wars movie.

Jaw-dropping...I've been teaching myself 3d design for fun (making robots, spaceships, castles, high-tech citiscapes, etc.) and you do a much better, more detailed job with cast off items that are not infinitely editable, unbreakable, and capable of being saved before every important step. I'm in awe, man. Keep up the good work!

Hey man, great work. Don't forget to provide finished, full body shots - plan and profile - at the end. Try some shots with a single, side angle light source to bring out the detail and relief. Keep them coming!

This video made me sub alone, that was amazing!!!! i effing LOVE MECHS, and that was amazing use of parts i would have never even dreamed of!!! that design brings me back in the old anime mecha days along side gundams, and mecha assault. fantastic job!!! Beautiful work, though I do have a bit of a nitpick... The barrels of your rotary cannon are spaced way too far apart. Being so far out from the axis of rotation would cause them to flex, a lot. If you're looking for references, check out the barrel cluster on the A-10 "Warthog's" main gun, or the GAU-8. A lot of modellers tend to get small, practical details like this wrong, and it kinda breaks the suspension of disbelief on model builds like this. The engineering doesn't have to be perfect, just plausible.

I've seen a bunch of builds now on YT, and this is the first one since Adam Savage's work that I was like "ok, that's actually professional quality" Great work! Consider having it scanned as a 3d model.
