As a product designer, I like creating & solving problems. So I built this to solve my own problems! I'm not a financial expert, just a small potato 🥔 learning to plan & prepare for rainy days ☔️ 2021 taught me that life is uncertain-We should all build a safety net and evaluate your current career/financial situation. I went without work for 5 months but fortunately had my emergency fund prepared. Having numbers in front of you put things in perspective. I read it somewhere and find it true- "Financial decisions must always be made through excel sheets and not heart." 🦄

Does anyone know if UI designers hold presentations? I know that UX designers often do that, but I have anxiety standing up speaking for a group. I'd rather sit down and discuss my ideas etc. Any insights?

Hi! We do make presentations from time to time. However, if it gives you anxiety, you could try: 1) Rehearsing multiple rounds before the presentation 2) Writing down your script/talking points to refer when you present 3) If it's virtual, record your presentation beforehand 4) This may sound weird, but it also helps ease my anxiety when I just say outright to the audience that 'Woah, I'm so nervous'. Hope it helps!

I'm doing grabfood while self learning ui/ux. As for the self learner you need to have a macbook, no need for the latest one as Figma in windows laptop cannot read San Fransisco font in ios devices. Just realized it last week 😅😅

Keep going, Helmi! You can download San Francisco font locally on your windows laptop, then relaunch Figma. See if it works!
