Not only that but the behavior is unacceptable. You need to put an end to it immediately. Because if he grabs your hand and starts looking at your cards and you object, you are basically giving a tell to the table that you were bluffing. Don't let this ass hole ever touch or look at your cards. In fact, I would never agree to play in a game with him. He's an alleged cheater and his behavior at the table is irritating. I wish everyone would just refuse to play with him unless he gives up the game.

Are you legally binded to stay for the stream even after it breaks? Upping the stakes when Andy arrived just seemed like a terrible idea in the first place
@DaftFader
@DaftFader 6 месяцев назад
This is what often happens (but I don't think they are contracted to it). They regularly play for hours after the stream ends and the stakes can get real crazy sometimes when they do. I've heard a few players from HCL talk about playing post stream and it getting really wild. Don't forget these people make their money playing poker, not streaming it, so they have every incentive to carry on playing. Although if you're massively up and don't play regularly, it might be wise to leave, but the thing with poker, if you play for a living, is you have an average % win rate per hour so the more you play the more in theory you will win (if you are a winning player), and it's more about getting as many hours in as possible than leaving when you're up (providing you've not become tired and are still playing at your best) as there's nothing to say when you sit back down at the table the next day you're not going to loose every hand then or that you wont win every hand that same night. So pro poker players don't look at it like "I'm up so I should now leave" because they usually mostly focus on long term results rather than short term and rely on their edge to win them money over time and not luck to win them money in the short term. Although I will say Rampage specifically playing against Jungleman and Andy in a 3 way game at them stakes probably was a bit out of Ramp's depth and I'm not sure he has an edge there at all as they have been playing really high level poker for way longer than Rampage has.

@@DaftFaderWhat you said is mostly accurate. However, it should not be unnoticed that it is only true when the “pro” player in question is constantly playing at the same stakes with large quantity of hands played - something that the players on this stream is not doing. This is why the occasional super high stakes does not (mathematically) incentivise players to play as though they are grinding a stake as a professional - the variance simply takes away the edge that they have. Also, don’t forget that the vast majority of the “pro” faces here at Hustler are not actually top tier pro players (hence why they play live high stakes more, it’s more like gambling and live reads than actual poker skills), the case in point here would be someone like Andy - known as a “pro”, but never a top player. This explains why many of the winning players in this stream left the table early. They were smart enough to know that they were on the better end of the variance, leaving would take away the chance to let other players catch up, especially with someone like Andy and Jungleman who are obviously quite prone to tilting when they are losing a lot to these recreational players.😂
@DaftFader
@DaftFader 6 месяцев назад
@@BBshark000 Oh yeah that's true. I said that because initially they lowered the stakes, and was more refering to in general when the full table continues to play in a normal situation. In this instance they all left even before the stream finished (seemingly because the weakest players left first with all their winnings), and the stakes didn't go up until andy came back, and I think that's where it became extra risky for Ethan as I say at the end of my post.

Barely got into the actual WHY. I had opp to rent EV but passed - why would I rent smth with long charge time when I’m not local (can’t charge at “home”) and on vacation (driving around all the time)?

You are an excellent player, but to play jungleman heads up for huge stakes is a losing proposition. Yeah you beat Doug Polk in a very short sample but there’s no way you you will beat those guys in the long run. Game selection is one of the most important factors in being a winning player . It might hurt the ego but it will fatten the wallet .

Im going to pause the video at the heads up with jungle/andy coming back. I think it wouldve been a okay thing in your spot to take the 100k loss on the chin instead of battling with those poker gurus to try and get unstuck, Im scared to keep watching knowing the title says biggest loss lol

I don't think you should be giving Kabrell access to your hole cards after a hand. He is a very smart player

Rampage.. Consider a 1000 dollar day challenge! Earn 1000.00 aday for 10 days or 21 days or whatever just to show your audience "how to build a bankroll" or " how to earn a working income playing poker"... Jist as an inspirational piece....

quick question as I spot a potential moral dilemma. When returning funds to your backers on stake King, are the amout returned based on the stream results or the unsubstantiated session results? Because depending on the percentage you were staked and your dispersal, you could have come out substantially ahead, using other people's funds while they booked an L.

Trust me, there is no moral dilemma in your situation. If he had ended up in the black during the stream, do you think he would have been allowed to end up in the red by playing with the winning belonging to the backers?! No, their money is secured/or gone depending on the result from the stream. (The rest is just a private game on Rampage's own dime.)

Stakekings is about whatever is on stream. Big liability to let people continue having action post stream
