What is funny (and actually pretty sad) is this is how much much real Pokémon cards cost….Pokémon could sell their legit booster boxes for this price and still make money (just from a manufacturing point of view, not including marketing etc)

Most wants it for their kids to play but don't want to buy the expensive original esp in south East Asian region where most cards are imported. I believe the v Star universe single pack costs about 20 USD or so

I just bought 2 fake packs for $1 each at a discount store and I had the same laugh out loud reaction, definitely worth the price & comedic factor and will use the cards for some kind of craft project so I don’t feel bad using real cards. The massive amount typos on almost every single card is hilarious

got a box of 36 packs for only 5$ , they do pretty ok job now, as long as you sleeve them and dont directly compare with original they are good for playing. Im ok paying for vintage magic the gathering 400+$ but not for pokemon

I suppose those boxes could be used to surprise a 3 y old child. He wouldn't notice it and play with them and be happy af. So i think there is a use of those boxes.

I feel worse for the adults who pay thousands for slabs of cardboard when its clear, by this video, that they can get the same hunk of cardboard for 10% of price. Idk why you feel bad for them. Lol 16 bucks for 360 drawings isnt a bad deal.

Fake cards are always so interesting to me because I used to get a bunch of them in circulation at school when we were trading them and I dont even know how my friends got fake cards or where they came from - it was like 2008 😂

HAHA I would go to the SWAPMEETS here in LA with my parents when I was 8 and I remember my dad buying me packs thinking they were real 😂😂 and I started trading them at school and this big ordeal happened that parents complained that their kids had fake cards so some student at school was trading fake cards 😂😭😭 found out they were mine and I had no idea lmaoooo I just knew my friends cards were a bit more clearer than mine haha

I thought the gold Pokémon proxy cards would be nice to collect and have to make our binder collections look more appealing-cool. My daughter said absolutely NOT! She was like “we don’t give money to people selling fake cards. No matter how cool one set looks. That’s why they’re still in business scamming people!” Great advice 😊❤ It was on the Walmart website from a company known for selling fake booster boxes. Pat from Deep Pocket Monster shared a video exposing the company.

There is huge reason to use proxy, do you really want to pay that much for a card you need? I play magic the gathering and my deck needs 8 cards i just cant get because each of them cost from 400$ and up, so i buy proxy for 1-2$ and play with my deck completed. Im ok with paying full price for vintage cards, but some of them are too much, like moments where all set combined cost less than 1 card i need to complete that set

I'm laughing right along with you PokeRev...This box IS the struggle in real time. I do think though that whomever would need to buy this box of cards, has to be doing the best they can. This is the reason I repackage my duplicates and donate them to children who would otherwise find themselves ordering these!!! I used to go to the $2 dollar stores around my house and buy fake cards, and then take them to school, trade them for real cards and sell them. I was like 12 but trust me I made crazy money. Best side hustle ever

If you are know what you are getting (if you know they are fake), then go buy them. They look great and it's the best gift for your young kids that sees their parent get all excited with his cards and they want some cards too. But you know that whatever cards you'll buy to your kids, it will end up half chewed, half licked, covered with chocolate or ketchup, or traded for a sticker at day care. I'd rather see a $15 booster box get destroyed and traded for other useless stuff than see a $170 booster box get destroyed.

A tip for fake pokemon companies, atleast try, and put code cards atleast fake code cards cuz it would make them more realistic and put the cards in the right place, like the pack trick and stuff, also add shine to the rares and don’t make cards with texture if the only way to make them look better is to add that kinda gloss but add them to non textured cards so add them to like vs or exs that aren’t full art or alt arts cuz I’ve gotten some good fakes that could pass off for real cards if u glued them to real cards(but DONT ever do that) so ya

This video gave me a nostalgia hit because when I was a kid some stores near where I live sold pokemon cards, at like, the regular price you'd find them on good stores with actual official cards. But the ones we all bought as kids were really fake, not even talking about the quality because yes they were bad but the thing is, half of the pokemon moves names were in other language or poorly translated. For example I have a Wingull card and the name at the top says Articuno 💀 or when I got a Blaziken with +9k of health, honestly when I was a kid no one really noticed these things so we played like normal but now I laugh when seeing those cards around my house. Sometimes I even buy some to see if they're still as bad, they are and honestly I'm surprised Rev's cards shine on the holo ones because they don't even do that here, they have the shade of how they're supposed to shine but it's discolored and really bad looking. Thanks for the great video! You really got me back into wanting to get official pokemon cards :D
