Can you imagine how good Stan Collymore would have been had he had a manager like Emery rather than “I’d like to shoot a Dwight Yorke” Gregory? all those issues probably would have been dealt with in a better way. Ifs buts and maybes and different times. The difference between Emery and Gerrard is night and day. We might not have the best squad in the top 6 but we’ve got a manager who knows how to extract the best out of each of them.
