Man, I had, like, 7 people send this video to me because I am the one guy who does top tier air arcade content as his main thing. Great video, I love seeing TTAA (top tier air arcade) get some more love. So, yeah, half the fun of TTAA is that when someone dies, you basically demote them to their next-worst plane, which makes it easier to kill them. So, if you know what you’re doing and you have the right setup (generally a fast plane with a lot of firepower), you can snowball entire lobbies and kill an absolutely hilarious number of people, which is so much fun. The tricky part in all of this is that because people respawn, the people you just killed tend to want to kill you back. So if you kill enough people, you’ll have the whole lobby out hunting for you, and that is where you can bring in a whole slow of dirty tricks and creative tactics to continue killing everyone and get away with it. This is also why people can sometimes go absolutely mental over air arcade matches (particularly in rank 6). Fox 3 jets have proven to be particularly brutal at snowballing teams, but you can do it with lots of lower-tier planes. Some of the F-4 and MiG-21 variants are really good at it. HMU on the CC disc if you wanna talk in detail or squad up.
I'm new to the game but have also figured out that people tend to fly their best planes first and work down. I've been doing the opposite and I love the feeling of taking out your opponent with a 2+ rating gap knowing you're only going to get stronger when you die. Love it
Hey go back use a boom zoomer turn fighter canon slayer(ussr la 9s) it’s fun bomb hunting vary fun in my opinion then just dive on furbals watch out for j2m2 m71 n f4uc1 if your good n smart with the c1 you’ll drop jets constantly they always want a head on and forget those canons only need 3 projectiles to hit then BOOOM (active player 4 years lost rank 5 ussr aviation account never premium) after that got the f5 Thai tiger and ripped threw the tree after got to rank 6 j2m2 is nutty let the canons rev up people forget half secon to fire so pre fire Scissors a lot of p 51 n bf109 players will try to climb straight up to you if unskilled like most air arcade low br games are stall em ps if white streaks come off wing tips there fucked if your about half mile mile up above them any thing more they’ll recover n you’ll get tunnel vision if they do recover just watch them they always try again n yea just play play play even if you don’t get a kill your practicing your flight skills seriously learn the plane to in cock put learn the dash sortv then you’ll stop losing to kinds that just turn in p47s and will only get smoke by vets you’ll know when they are way more skilled especially if you keep altitude you’ll get hunted by fws bf109 only like 2 in the tree can play with the j2m2 if your bf is 5.0 for japan anything more up use the j2m last n please guys don’t just rape the spawn at least go acouple miles in the center and give the enemy aircraft some alt you’ll get better they feel like they have a chance so it won’t be so much of a hack
a few tips : if you want faster queue times in air arcade you can set on all servers to increase the pool of players. Also if you want to do a reload of your missiles, you can set a button to throw what you have left away to reload. Even if quite rare (but to be honest, air RB has also a whole bunch of bad players), good air arcade players exists, there is some dedicated squadrons for this, especially in top tier ^^
Arcade is fun. It's hated because it's "fun" yes fun. You can obviously respawn more. In realistic if you get skill issued cuz you didn't see it, then oh well. But in arcade you can easily come back and get more kills. Especially in ground. Grow up people. Play arcade. It's ALOT less stressful. Honestly almost no stress at all Edit: Also for arcade at top tier, people have 1 or 2 top tier prems with a squadron, after those 2 or 3 deaths then they spawn their stuff at 9.0 and under. Again. Easy. Fun. Low level players and they don't learn.
It’s not hated because it’s fun, it’s hated because there is too much spam and the players who do arcade are really defensive about it. There are some toxic sim or rb players but arcades just seem to ignore all reason and say “it’s just fun”
@@TheChickenJ that's because it is? Realistic is just really unfriendly, once you die, well, that's your fault for not seeing a missile in your blind spot. Atleast arcade gives you a CHANCE to fight back with their respawns and just alot more friendly than realistic and overall less stressful than realistic

@@TheChickenJ I literally said a positive of arcade? It's much more friendly compared to other modes when you give a beginner a choice between them and a less more stressful mode for an experienced player since it's more easier
I love AABs for the respawn if nothing else, it really sucks to spawn in a ARB match, take off, fly for 7 minutes and get smoked by a yak 3 that space climbed and dove on me. My favorite is running cap over ground RB , simple little dogfights that end fast and teach the most about maneuvering when slow and heavy, instead of it just getting energy trapped by whoever had the best climb rate
I play AAB for one specific reason: to level my planes for GRB. It's just faster for me. I usually get like 1.5-2.0 BR ahead of my planes and then I jump into AAB to work the planes back up. It's surprisingly effective!
Bro, you haven't got the slightest clue on just how insane top tier air arcade gets Watch some of Aoeilaeiepae Hunts Teams video's, he plays only top tier air arcade and he manages to face entire teams by himself getting upwards of 20 kills.
It's my one gripe with Arcade, everyone is so kill hungry, that a lone plane will be mobbed by half your team, meaning that they sweep you because you don't have enough people to defend the points
Yeah I guess when you’re in a jet and all you have to do is aim their general direction and fire from 10 miles out it’d be pretty easy to think “yeah I’m that guy” 😂
I tend to play a mix of ground and air, GR is pretty fun and not much harder than GA. AA is much more enjoyable, albeit frustrating because your teammates lack brain cells. AR is fine, but too slow for my liking
Me personally I play arcade and it’s not that bad. You get to use all your planes and still get to do all these tricks in reversals. Btw, I’m at rank 2-3
Lots of people start with their lower tier air craft and towards the end, bring out their F15Cs, F16s, Su-27s, etc. Usually thats when you doe a few times and may be on an F4 at the end of the battle
This is the side of the War Thunder community that i adore the most, people usually hate air arcade battles because they prefer sim or rb, but imo arcade battles is a mode if you just wanna sit back, and laugh at the chaos thats happening, i play both rb and ab, but arcade is really just pure fun lol
Arcade is most of what I play. I think air rb is annoying as hell honestly. No respawns, too much time spent running back to base, and too little action.
You kept your afterburner on while using flares. The missiles will lock onto your afterburner since you weren't going cold. Could've saved a death or two.
I feel like a lot of people play arcade from props to the first jets. I unlocked the F-80-A5 first and I played arcade with it a few times. It sucked because I wanted to fly my new and only jet, but it was easily killed by some of the more maneuverable props. I played with that for a few games until I unlocked the F2. Shortly after this I switched to realistic. I realized I could get 1 or 2 kills and get the same research points as 8 kills in arcade. I unlocked about 7 jets and then I played a couple games of arcade and then went back to realistic.
Funny video, I use to play AB when I'm tired and don't want to think much about it and just spam missiles. You can see the guy have no clue about the AB when he jumps into with only 2 aircrafts. AB is about insanity, madness, so if you have 10 jets, you queue with 10 of them. 🤣
3.0-3.7 air arcade is where it's at imo. i've been playing war thunder super casually since beta (still not good) but high tier has never appealed to me.
Same, I'm currently at 6.7 because I have a Ki-84 in my lineup and the moment that gets taken down I spawn the Ki-43, gotta love seeing the "Rank doesn't matter" and "Skill matters" medals after I kill the early jets
Early game it's fun, once missiles become a thing for certain nations though then it becomes less fun unless you're the one with missiles so I can see why Top tier air arcade is so hated.
I prefer ground RB + air AB. I tend to use air AB for simple and easy SL farming or acing an aircraft for ground RB. (Have to say though that I do fly at 4.3 atm and working on 5.3 lineup. Am also FTP for the most part and occasionally get 10 to 20 days premium account.)

Aeliaspace or sumn is a god at arcade, talk all u guys want about air arcade, i also barely play it, but dude went 22-0, in a mode where respawn is enabled and people throwing missiles early, sht js crazy
