I Can Fly in Nuclear Throne Ultra 

I’ve never played this game so I don’t know shit, but half the time I’ll be like “wow this weapon seems good” only for Tyler to be like “I think this weapon is trash” and I think that’s really beautiful. Love how he just declares every single thing either amazing, trash, or totally fine seemingly at random, makes it fun to guess.

Sorry to say but its kinda painfull to watch you suffer. That's why imma give u some wise words from a man that has maxed nuclear throne, aka me. The tips pretty much work for vanila NT or moded NT, soo the basics are: 1. The ALWAYS pick "meta" for mutations are gamma guts, long arms, trigger fingers and scary face, ( or any other "deal more dmg to every enemy mutations" ) You see gamma guts gives you the ability to damage the enemy by touching him, but there is also contact dmg... that can be negated if you can kill the enemy with gamma guts, and that's why every "deal more dmg to enemy mutation" don't give you more dmg, (besides the laser one) but makes the enemy have less hp, so you can kill more enemies with gamma guts, and prevent preatty much any contact dmg in the game, cuz there are a lot of weak "swarm" enemies like maggots etc. you get the point. 1,5. Also i gotta add this cuz you seem like you don't know how powerfull the reload is. Every weapon only has max ammo, so you don't "reaload" it, its only a way of saying that the weapon needs some time to shoot again, its basically a cooldown of the weapon. Trigger fingers gives you cooldown reduction when you kill enemy, and later when there are more enemies you just kill some and chain the reduction to pretty much insta shoot from every weapon. Basically all the "reload" mutations are just "attack speed up" 2. DON'T have the same ammo type weapon for obvious reasons, unless you play as steroids, but im not gonna spoil why. 3. Maybe its not a tip, or its only my way of playing, but melee weapons are insane, and i always play with one slot only for melee weapons, and other one for any gun. The reason one is that you can use any weapon l even those with insane ammo consumption cuz if you gonna get low, you can just kill someone with melee and get more ammo to continue killing with your OP high ammo consumpion weapon. The reason two is that its the best way of defence, just grab some random "swing" ( not "poke" ) melee weapon with the fastest attack and it may deal 1 dmg, depending on the weapon ( cuz some melee weapons are just insane ), but you can just clear waves of bullets, especially with long arms mutation, and just get to enemy in the safest posible way. Or just switch to melee when a wave of bullets comes. 4. And... the last one... the legendary sweaty tip for absolute tryhards is..... working best on NT ultra, but... Go full glass canon. insanelly risky strategy, but insanelly good one. Soo the glass canon G.O.D build is: a) Pick the moded mutation that gives you better reload with every kill. ( they could have updated it so it may not be in this version, but imma say it anyways cuz its the only way to really go full god mode). The one with flaming eyes. b) Take long arms c) Find better and better melee weapons thru the game, but focus mostly on the sweep range d) You just became god, nobody can kill you (besides laser popo ❤) cuz you insta spam melee attacks that destroy bullets. You just won the game, simple....... but, you get hit, especially later you insta die, cuz the faster attack mutation resets gg. I will say only you can't jugde what is good or bad without trying out or understanding what make something special.

NT is one of those games that even when you die you don't feel bad and want to immediately jump into another run such a good game

my man, why do you go melee range against everything? You can't dodge bullets fired to your face.
