"I Can Lift A Car" Walk The Moon & PS22 Chorus

Yesterday the PS22 Chorus was fortunate enough to be part of one of our most epic musical collaborations with the incredible band Walk The Moon! Aside from being an extremely musically prolific afternoon (lots of vids to look forward to), it was a thoroughly inspiring one as well! The kids and the band were completely in awe of each other, and had a cosmic blast getting together on some of the band's songs, and even some impromptu performances!
This first vid is one of my favorites and is sure to jump start your day, as the kids join in on a super-charged acoustic version of Walk The Moon's song "I Can Lift A Car!" This ought to get your adrenalin going, and whet your appetite for the many more videos on the way from our amazing day with the band! Brace yourself.....

I still watch this in 2022. The kids energy is infectuous, and the bands reaction is genuine and heartwarming. You can see the joy in both the chorus and the musicians. It's what music's purpose is. It's perfection.

Walk The Moon is my favorite band now. Nicholas hung out at the merch table and talked with me for a good 15 minutes before a show. And all the guys came out after the show and talked to fans and took pictures. I know they won't always be able to meet and greet fans like that, but I hope they make it big. You hear so much about so many jerks in music, it's nice to see the good guys win every once in a while.

I can't handle the emotions that are flooding through me right now. This was just.... fantastic. Inspirational. Made me love the PS22 kids even more than I already did, and made me love Walk the Moon more than I already did. Which I didn't think was possible. Amazing.

I've been following PS22 for years now, and every time you bring in musical guests, it's always such a beauty to watch the kids just feel and enjoy the room. But Walk the Moon looks like they're the most perfect fit for this group because, wow. The kids absolutely feeling the music that they need to stand up and dance; it's just amazing.

Seriously, whenever I think it is impossible to love Walk the Moon any more, I am somehow proved incredibly wrong. There is so much passion, heart, and joy in everything they do. Not only that, they are amazingly talented. I love their music because they let the audience experience all of joy they have. And talk about joy, PS22 is unbelievable. Those kids are fantastic! I think the girls got a couple of screams about Kevin in there for me. So much WTM love.

The children's chorus is quite interesting to listen to. It adds a magnificence in harmony to the song. The harmonic resonance gives you good vibes. This was very well done. :)

Hahaha did anyone else notice Nicholas messed up the words a tad at 1:50? He started out "Well I'm clums- you like it in Chicago!" Hahaha good recovery Nicholas! Love this song and this video is so moving. Walk the Moon is the best!
