I can guess what happened: Jackson made an immediate run to Kyles house and sees his mom beating him before calling the police on his mother. Turned out Janette lied about Kyle moving. After the police arrived the mother resisted arrest but the cops beat her to the point that she cants struggle to get away. Kyles mother was sentenced to life for child abuse and resisting arrest and also had her parental rights removed after Kyles uncle (from the moms side and whom had accepted Kyle) gained custody of him. Kyle was admitted to the hospital right after. Janette came but Jackson snapped at her. Saying this is her fault which made her feel guilty and ran off crying. When Kyle came around Jackson was overjoyed. He told him what happened before Kyle surprisingly said “Thanks...” though when Kyle was released he had to go to his uncles house (which is far away from him.). They said goodbye as Kyles uncle thanked Jackson for saving his nephew from his cruel and homophobic mother. Jackson never saw him sense. He blamed Janette for what happened and everyone else hated her for what happened. Years later Jackson was in college and Janette changed in a good way and found herself a woman (for once.) though she was a punk (a good one). Then on October Jackson saw Kyle who looked better than before. Both shared a joyous hug under the warm sun as the autumn leaves fall.
I honestly love how you made the bully have a sad backstory. When I was younger my parents always told me "People who bully are just hurting inside. They bully to get the attention they need but couldn't get at home." and I grew up to realize that no child is just.. a bully. They are either taught or learned to act the way they do because of things they experience at home, school, a cousins house, etc. Other than that, this is a really great glmm! The ending made me cry though lol.
My mom awalys told me that I felt bad for my bully I saw him cry once it made me feel bad do I comfort him a few months later we became freinds but we never met each other again sadly😢
