Many music rags in Kpop, only report on "Idols" and for a singer like him, he is just a footnote to the music industry. He is less admired by his own country but widely accepted by Chinese communities all over the world. He represents What's good about Korea and the humanity as a whole, thru his personality, humility, respects for others, fearlessness, down to earth, graciousness and hard work all "Old World" values. in the beginning where all the other contestants who appeared on the season that he was in and sang his song, congratulating him on making it so far because he started as a contestant then became a guest on the show. it was really touching because he worked so hard and got so far in his career.

When the other previous contestants give their surprise performance at the beginning of the song, tears running down my eyes. This ending segment is so touching. So proud of Hwang Chiyeul for his fighting spirit. And even though he is now one of Korea's most famous singer in China, he still remain humble and very warm towards his fans.

I believe that there's actually an encore (live when recording for the show); and in fact, there's actually a short encore after this clip (at end of the show).... I totally agree with you -- he really deserves acknowledgement with his singing skills.....
to further add what eziconiese said -- afterl his first appearance back in 2015 at ICSYV season 1. With his voice being recognized; he basically went from a completely unknown singer to one of the top singers in K-Pop (both skill and fame). The guy beside him is one of the contenders that join ICSYV (Season 4 in this clip); and he actually have pretty much situation as Hwang Chiyeol (in the unknown stage)
i watched him from season 1 and im disappointed because he didnt win but then God has another and much better plan for him and i am soooo happy to see him now not as a contestant but already as a guest.. really proud of him..😂😂

Everyone is crying seeing this beautiful stage simply because people know that he is finally getting everything that he deserves after going through so much. I cried even harder when i saw Kim Sang Hyuk and Leeteuk crying, because they was there during Hwang Chi Yeol's first appearance on ICSYV. Lee Sang Min's crying and tried to hide it by closing his eyes makes me cried harder. Im just so happy for Hwang Chi Yeol. The best episode for me so far.
Everyone is crying from the MCs to the panelists. This is one of the most touching ending performance. I really love Hwang Chi Yeol. I used to be a K.Will fan (well, still am) but Chi Yeol's humility and how he reached this far is very inspiring. :) You just can't get enough of his voice!
