i’ve had my f82 for about a year now 2018 comp pack. it hasn’t had 1 problem, just regular oil changes 5k miles. Vrsf single mid pipe and a m4 gts style tune. only problem was messed up sensor on the charge cooler giving me over heating codes that was it super easy fix like 5 mins 😂. S55 is super reliable excluding the over blown crank hub problem. Also these are probably the best modern bmws for drifting the diff is so perfectly tuned.
Long term - probably? Not sure if this will be a long term car, but I wanted something that I could enjoy on the weekends as well. Test drove an IS500 and it’s so boring compared to an F80.
