I can't believe I found this lamp at the thrift store for so cheap! This will be a great eBay flip once it's repaired! I ordered the part and will give an update as soon as it's done!

My grandparents had a large table lamp oil rainfall in their living room. I LOVED watching it when I was little. Just after I was married my parents knew I loved it and said I could have it in our house. This was about 20 years ago and even back then I knew it was valuable BUT I ended up selling it for pretty cheap because it smelled like oil and the pump made too much noise. There was oil all over sometimes. I knew right away you were going to have a mess laying that lamp on it's side. But now you know.

I took a break from selling years ago and I think it was because I hated selling clothing that much! I didn't enjoy selling on eBay anymore! Looking through a 40 ft long rack at the thrift and finding nothing, measuring, the questions, I had more money in inventory, slow turn over....etc Easy shipping was the only plus for me!

They used oil in those lamps to run slowly down the strings. My hubby & I always thought they were the tackiest things we ever saw LOL!!!

I've see 2 people pull that exact one out of a bin at the goodwill outlet!!! I always stand in front of the wrong bin when they roll the new ones out!!

@@JayR.Feltus I paid and they tossed them! They didn't want me to but this thrift supports local vets so I didn't feel right not paying for them!
