Love the video…I also seal my bins find in an airtight plastic bag during the summer and let them COOK in my trunk….in the Winter I leave clothes outside to freeze…currently it is -13 in Wisconsin. I also wash and am lucky enough to live in the country so I can hang outside…Did I mention you provide great content…love all the little hints you give while sourcing what you are looking for etc…great reminders for us all. Wearing my supima cotton LL Bean 3/4 as I watch this, lol! It's funny.. as I put it on I was thinking I hope I find another one at the Bins next trip. Truly is super soft and I'm hard on my own clothes and it keeps coming out of the laundry like new.

I've sold some Afghans before and an antique horse hair carriage blanket, but I rarely find home made quilts in a price range I can flip, so this was an exciting find for me.

I don’t resell but I like to read a lot & I buy all of my books at the bins because it’s the cheapest way to buy books. You do not want to go to bins on a Saturday or Sunday anywhere because it’s just insane. Weekday evenings is way better. 😊

Are you in the Hampton VA bins? That’s where I shop & the last few times I went, they didn’t have any books. My husband usually goes with me & he enjoys the books & thinks I’m crazy for going through all the other items! This is the 1st video I’ve seen of yours. Thanks for sharing!

It is the Hampton bins, and yeah they didn’t have any books for three months and I was so sad. They have had them the last couple of times I’ve gone and it’s been good.

Just found your channel! SOUTH OF THE BORDER a Carolina classic. I’m in the triad/triangle area and we have bins in WS and Greensboro. I have been to Charlotte also. Is there another one that you go to?

I’m in VA over in Hampton Roads, but have been to the Charlotte bins and like how y’all have those square deep blue bins instead of shopping carts. I’ve also been to the Bins in Richmond, but I haven’t been to all the cool thrifting places in NC.

Yes I wash everything not new with tags from every thrift store, estate sale and bins I go to before photographing and listing.

I just wash my hands when I leave. I don’t wear gloves because I want to feel the pieces for fabric content like wool and linen. I see a lot of people do that and it’s totally valid but I’m willing to deal with the ick until I can get to a sink.
