The tour guide in The Old Fort Jesus did an amazing job explaining ❤ The British did so much in slavery to our people. That is how the slaves were transport to Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean. That's why Caribbean people are mixture of different African countries in the continent. I realize Africans do not know the history. That's why they can't understand the Jamaican connection with African. We're one people. Doesn't matter what tribe or language you speak. We're one! They need to read abd self educated themselves. The history of that coastline started almost four centuries before the coming of the first Europeans i.e. the Arabs , Chinese,Indian,persian traders then later it was ironically discovered by Portuguese ....And for general information east africans have extensive knowledge on the slave trade it's taught in schools as history but theres also the local version of events of that era & its distateful.....good riddance to that trade........

unbelievable, I did not know Kenya has the slave port. please put it on the MAP. not so many people are aware of it. It's more well kept than the Ghana one. people should as well pay a visit to this historical place. and the young man guide so knowledgeable.
