Emotional eating: Happy = celebrate with chocolate. Sad = soothe myself with chocolate. Bored = get me interested with chocolate. Tired = wake me up with chocolate. Excited = grab some chocolate, just cause. Angry = I’ll get back at you with chocolate.
hello Cathy Food became my comfort my friend. In reality food was my drug of choice. Over the past 9 months I went fron 193 to 160.4 my goal is 148..Healthy living is a positive while the word diet is negative..Cathy when you see the weight coming off and how happy you are with your accomplishments. you'll never want to go back only forward...This month I want to loose 4lbs toward my goal of 148....I believe you will loose 50 lbs and more......
When I feel like needing something crunchy around the TV time at night. I actually put my pj’s on and go to bed to read. The hunger pain disappeared and I was fine.
I've lost 133 lbs in 3 years by eating at least 90 grams of protein a day. I eat in an 8 hr window... so fast for 16 hrs and drink a lot of water. No processed sugars is key to weight loss as well.
I found out that I was eating only about 1/4 of the amount of protein I need. For years in end. I got in shape on Atkins 30 years ago, but I got so discouraged with people telling me that I was destroying my organs (it turned out that the research was faulty, because they didn't use real food). Now I'm back on a high-protein diet. I gained about 4 pounds at first, probably gaining back muscle mass, but then I started to lose steadily. For people over 60, we need twice as much protein as when we were younger! I had no idea. So I'm concentrating on chicken, wild-caught sardines, kippers, salmon, eggs, and a little bovine collagen peptide powder to boost my protein consumption. I feel so much better!
Cathy, you are so courageous to put your “imperfect “ self out there for us to share your process! Thank you so much, and especially for modeling a plan of movement toward a goal, without beating ourselves up if we don’t meet the goals we set for ourselves. And that color pink might just be your new favorite go-to; try to find a pink accessory in that tone; belt, earrings, scarf. You look fantastic!
Thank you for sharing! So much of what you share resonates with me. I will turn 55 this September, am overweight and have dealt with hypothyroidism for over 30 years. I am 5’0” tall, apple shaped and a year into menopause. I know I need to get serious about my 55 year old car so that my muffler doesn’t fall off 😅
You’re amazing just the way you are Patricia. I’m not against being healthy and in good shape. But there is so so much a woman can offer. How are you today?
@@suzannesmith5240 I drink a protein shake for breakfast, I eat pretty much what I want for lunch and I don’t eat anything after 3:00pm. I know it’s rough but it works so well! I’m a activity director at a skilled nursing facility so I’m active but I also like to get my heart rate up by fast walking in the afternoons. Oh and drink your water! ❤️hope this helps
Hi Cathy. Great video! Great news. We all need to escape the diet culture. It's a lifestyle. Congratulations on the weight loss. You will do it!! I had the same realization in January. I feel so much better and I dropped 15lbs. You got this.
This was such a wonderful video. Thank you for sharing this. Sometimes I think I must be the only person on earth thinking these things. I know what to do but then something happens. My husband has health issues as well and 5 hours in the ER leads me to eating crap. It’s just easier to grab something bad. Your videos are so real and authentic. Thank you.
Oh I can relate my friend. Being a long term caretaker is so stressful and lonely. Don't beat yourself up about it. It's really hard to describe how it feels being stressed out all of the time with worry about a spouse that's ill. Hugs! 💖
I've lost 60 pounds 3 years ago by first doing keto along with intermittent fasting, then low carb ( which I still do, as well as walking at least 5 miles a week, and or moderate exercising 3 times a week). I'm 62 and look pretty young for my age. Thanks for sharing enjoy your day ☺️
The one change I made 6 months ago - was nothing to eat after 6pm. And, I cut my portions a little at a time. So, far I’ve lost 35 pounds. I hit 200. But I’m at a stand still- just got one knee replacement, second one set for September! I hope after I heal I can get out and walk!
The key to weight loss is to change bad habits to good habits. Find something that works for you and do it. Also, don’t give up. If it takes months longer than you think it should, if you keep up good habits, the weight will go away. Every time we eat, it’s an opportunity to eat something that is good for our bodies health. Move more. Form good habits. Feeling better is a plus. Good for you.
I'm 73. I do intermittent fasting. I try to stick to the Mediterranean Diet. I love it because its not really a diet, its a healthy way of eating. I also workout every morning through you tube video's. There are so many to chose from, especially walking, senior workouts, weights. Anything from 10 min to one hr. The great thing is you are doing it in your house so you are more motivated to work out. I only needed to lose around 15 lbs that I couldn't take off but this has helped me to lose the weight and I feel great. So if I can do this, anyone can. Good luck, you've got this.
Had health issues and tried every diet there is. Finally, was trying keto and my symptoms disappeared within the first week. Sleep was much better and my mind became so clear and sharp. Accomplished a lot and tackled that huge to do list that’s been waiting for a long time. So, I adopted the keto lifestyle since 2017. Ditched all meds and doctors were impressed and puzzled. Lost 130 pounds in my first year and been in control of my weight. Haven’t been happier in my entire life.
I lost 35 lbs and gained back 20 lbs... This has to stop, I can’t buy another wardrobe again! 😅 I will try to follow your advices and divide my plate with more vegetables. Your snack idea is also interesting. Thank you for sharing! ❤
One more tip...use a small plate! Dinner plates have gotten bigger over the years. 9 -10 inch is a good size. Really helps with portion control. Thank you for sharing. I have subscribed. Lets do this!! :)
I feel that I am exactly like you...emotional eater, not a big eater, but I eat the wrong things. High empty calories! And its hard not to want to count calories.
When I quit obsessively exercising and started enjoying real fresh food, I began to drop weight. Also it probably helped that a toxic yet beloved family member passed away. I grieve, but I have peace now knowing that I did everything I could for him. I had been eating badly to cope with the situation. Now I walk 3 times a week very early in the morning and it gives me such pleasure ( and it isn’t hot at that hour!) Then the rest of the day is spent not worrying about fitting in exercise. You’re on the right track, Cathy. Counting points can make people focus on keeping rules rather than enjoying their food.
I lost my mom in April of 22, and can so relate. I remember my mom as she was in the 80s. She was in hospice for the last two weeks while we cared for her. It was an honor for us and the gravity of her illness still is overwhelming even today. Caring for another is such a profound experience. I thank you for sharing. We are not alone. As an almost 60-year old (just a few more weeks), your journey so aligns to mine.
Another thing I have realized is I only want the best if I am going to eat something I should not eat. I don't settle and I do not go out of my way to find the best. I am too lazy. It is not worth it to eat store bought goodies. They are just too disappointing. So NO to any store bought desserts. And I never say NO to a piece of wedding cake.
Cathy, I love your openness and honesty. Very sorry for the loss of your mom. As women, no matter how old we are, when we lose our moms it changes who we are right down to our core. That grief takes time. My mom passed almost 5 years ago and I am still not there yet. I can identify with everything you said about learning and unlearning. At 60, I've done Medifast, Optavia, WW, Nutrisystem, hypnosis, Noom- nothing stuck. My insurance company just started covering telemedicine visits with nutritionists. I balked at first but decided to give it a try and it has made a world of difference to begin to change my thinking about food. I am also using the my plate graphic to fill my plate at each meal. My new go to snack is grapes and a low-fat cheese stick. It really helps at night. I cut everything up small and put it on a plate. "It's not about the food, it is about the feeling"- lightbulb moment. Thank you
I'm glad that your plan is working for you. I feel like this is something that I will be successful at. I'm not stressing about what to eat like when counting calories or points.
Congratulations!!!! Your delivery and explanation of your weight loss program has definitely caught my attention and peaked my interest!!! Please continue sharing your experience…I feel encouraged to make some changes too!!!TFS!💖🙏
At 73 I have lost over 50 pounds of fatty liver middle weight just by keeping my carbs under 10% of my calories. I am seldom hungry and am no longer food obsessed. Also NO sugar.
What a beautiful video, Cathy ! I identify with 100% of everything you said and really appreciate your openness. I will be watching this video a second time to better absorb what was said and think on how to apply it to me life. I am also an emotional eater but find that binges or mindless eating does not actually bring me the intended relief.....but need to learn more about taking care of my emotional needs. Thank you again and wishing you a successful August.
Watching this video was like you were saying what I had not yet admitted to myself about my eating patterns. I realized I have not been eating enough protein lately too. Most important is I really need to cut the suger ( candy) and cut late night snacking. I guess I always considered it something I have earned. Need to change my mindset.
Check out the glucose goddess. 59 years old and I’ve lost 17 lbs really easily based on eating what’s on your plate in a different order. Greens first, then protein then carbs. It balances cravings and blood sugar.
Congratulations Cathy on your weight loss this month.I love that you are meeting with a dietitian. Thank you for all the great ideas and tips. I love your channel.I can totally identify with emotional eating;have always been like that. I am on a weight loss journey also....want to lose about 15 more. You got this Cathy!🇨🇦💗🌸🌺🌸
I know from my own experience that you can gain enormous amounts of weight just by consuming an extra 100 calories per day, every day. That's 6 ounces of orange juice. A slice of bread. People think we're eating heaps of food like people on those weight-loss segments on talk shows, or some of the other youtubers who have weight loss videos. Those people ate 5 or 6 whole meals a day; 20 pieces of fried chicken every day; that kind of thing. That's not true of a lot of us. My base calorie expediture is 1450 per day. Just 100 calories over that is all ot takes to pack on pounds over years.
To do the math, 100 extra calories is about a pound a month. It's about 12 pounds per year. About 60 pounds in 5 years. 120 pounds in 10 years. With a super busy life and/or lots of stress, our mind isn't on calorie deprivation. We can't afford to feel bad for a couple of days a week. It's worse for petite women because we don't expend calories like taller, more muscular people. After finding out how few calories I spend in any exercise, I was really discouraged from trying to lose weight that way.
I don’t understand why everyone is taking this video as a chance to share a diet program. 🤦🏻♀️ It seems at least silly or even insensitive based on everything you shared about the new perspective you’re developing and how it ties into a lot of emotions about things that are challenging and sad in life. Our culture is so distorted with diet talk! Good luck to you with your new approach!
Wow Cathy, what you said about soothing your feelings through food - and those behaviours being learned in your 70s childhood could have come right out of my own mouth. I've struggled with food and using it to sedate negative feelings and that's right out of childhood. We didn't talk about our feelings as a family - no one really acknowledged their struggles other than making it clear that they "needed" that bag of chocolate because of a hard day or "deserved" that cheesecake because of some triumph. It's been a year journey for me to face up to these destructive patterns and develop healthier coping strategies. That sounds like a long time, but it's been worth it to take my time and make sure my new habits and thought processes have stuck. I wish you the very best Cathy an am cheering you on. Sounds like you're onto a healthy and sustainable path - kudos! PS Cathy - have you considered getting a pair of 8lb weights and doing some strength exercises at home? I leave them on my counter so I can't pretend to myself I "forgot" to do my routine haha. Building/hanging onto your muscle mass is incredibly important after 50....
One of the best tricks I ever learned to prevent snacking at night is to brush my teeth right after dinner (or you can after your evening snack if you eat one). It really does prevent me from eating anything again when I have finished my meals for the day!
Congrats on starting your new journey. Just trying to figure out what works for you is sometimes the hardest part. My journey started 2 years ago when I started having some odd reactions to foods. I’ve gone gluten free, lactose free, and reduced my sugars as much as possible…cookies are still my weakness. I definitely feel better. Weight loss isn’t the biggest issue for me, it’s the reaction from my body with what I put in it. If you’re mindful of your goal, you will definitely see results in august. Looking forward to your update. 👍🏻
I just love you! Congratulations on your weight loss and journey. I too am doing my best to eat right and get off some pounds. So far, it’s working. I’m so proud to call you friend! You are the REAL DEAL!!! ❤️ keep these great videos coming!
"Losing weight.... because that is what my parents would want." UGH - I can relate to that statement!!! BUT - - Your journey, whether it be weight loss, career, health, faith, love, finding joy, happiness, etc.... is YOUR journey - not your parents, spouse, other family or friends. It is YOUR journey, be it day by day or minute by minute. Took me a very LONG time to learn this!!! Once I let go of trying to be everything to everybody, and just focus on my own health and well-being, I was able to lose 85 pounds. And - you are absolutely right about "Stop Dieting!!" - it is a chore and a bore to count calories, carbs, grams of this, that and all the things. Just get back to basics; push yourself away from the table before you're full; drink lots of water; move more; be grateful for everyone and everything; and just live your BEST life!! I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon your video this morning. Thank you for your encouragement, wise words and kind demeanor. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!! 🙂
Hi Cathy. I feel like we’re the same person. I see myself in everything you say and feel. Congratulations on the weight loss. I just started my new program as well. We got this!
You can do what works for you, so glad you found something, but please do not spread misinformation, no one NEEDS carbs. Your wonderfully made body produces glucose from protein when needed. I’m clean carnivore, lost 100lbs, labs are great and I feel better at age 60 than I did in my 30’s!! No matter what you eat, get rid of processed foods and seed oils. Sincere, Best Wishes ❤️
Congrats on your weight loss. I'm doing what works for me. A healthy diet includes whole grains (healthy carbs). I agree about processed food. I'm not spreading misinformation.
You judge yourself harshly…”I know this is dumb”…. You’re human. You’ll mistakes and that’s okay. No one’s perfect. And you’re learning…definitely not dumb.
I think just meal prepping proteins is easiest. Just cook up ground turkey, chicken thighs or breasts, etc., and keep them in the fridge. The sides are quick anyway plus you can just add to a salad or wrap etc.
I’m learning about food, movement and deep diving into my feelings so I really get what you’re saying. My one thing in August is to do a 20 minute chair yoga class, 3 times a week. Fingers crossed!
I am 46 and so much of this resonated with me. The habits that were a part of my childhood and eating comfort foods to avoid feeling. I also have felt overwhelmed by all of the "diets" and "beliefs" that are dumped on us. I have felt so confused: WW? Noom? Fasting? Keto? I am over it and I will have to give this new way of thinking a try. It is worth trying, for sure!
Everyone grieves differently. I lost my father, the next year, my husband, the next yr my sister-in-law, the next yr, my mother, then my mother-in-law, the next yr my father-in-law….. I don’t feel I’ve had time to grieve anyone. I feel like I’m in a daze most of the time. I thank God they are all in a better place and can’t wait to see them one day. I’m like you, I ate the wrong things, not a lot of food, but the wrong things. I don’t like cooking for myself and feel I’d do better if I had someone preparing healthy foods for me. We can dream 😉. Good luck on your new journey.
Hi hun...I've lost 35 lbs in 3 months...I need 35 more lbs to go then I will be at my healthy and ideal weight.....I cannot wait till February...that's when I'll be entering my next stage of my Weight Loss Journey... I was just like you...eating the wrong foods and I was using food for comfort....it's hard but I did it and reversed all issues related to Diabetes & Hypertension...I am no longer a Diabetic and No longer on any medication...I've replaced them with Protein..Collagen and Vitamins....eating healthier and in portions...im going to be 57 in 2 weeks...I feel & look the best I've looked or felt in 15 years!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us...you're awesome & you got this!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this! I am older than you by 10 years. I heard and saw myself in what you have shared. Thank you again. Love that you represent Canadian women in many ways!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
This was great content. I am meeting with a nutritionist this month to assist me with releasing weight. Not weight loss most people when they lose something they want to receive or retrieve it. I DON'T WANT IT BACK!!! I need a hip replacement and I am unable to get it due to my BMI. I need to shed 100 pounds to have the surgery. I am 62 years young and I shed 58 pounds last year by eating alone and kept it off until the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. We've got this
My mother died in 1992. My father in 1996. I still don't think I've ever grieved for Mama because I still feel like she's with me and she was sick for 8 years. I think i grieved while she was still alive. It took 4-5 years to grieve for my Daddy because i was so busy working and raising 2 tiny babies. Then one day it just hit me, i still miss them but i know they are together and happy again.
Thank you Cathy. I have also followed weight watcher’s off and on for many years. I am 65 and still 80lb overweight. I started in grade 8! Anyways thank you for sharing. My goal is to retire in 2 years and prior to that I want to have built a healthy lifestyle and healthy habits resulting in a 50 lb weight loss BUT with a healthy way of living that is ingrained.. You are inspiring. There is absolutely nothing like losing your mother. I lost mine in 2005 and it took me 10 years before I could honour her birthday or the date of her death without taking time off from work to do so. All,that to say - take the time you need - there is no deadline for grief. Thank you, again.
Fantastic, Cathy. I am your "double" in Finland (55 years, same body shape). I have been told many times to stop dieting and obsessing about what to eat. I haven't believed that you can live without a strict food discipline. Your experience and positivity is helpful. I am going to try to be more relaxed about food.
This was a very nice and informative video. I am 69 and would like to do better with my eating. I’m a vegetarian and I know that I need to reduce portion sizes so I liked your plate idea. Looking forward to more ideas🙂
Hi Cathy,Love your channel.Just started the Mayo Clinic program and it sounds very much like this.Working so far.I enjoy your different content.Keep up the good work.
Such a great video! I am an emotional eater like you, I totally found myself in your words. Two suggestions: When I am cooking anything that will taste well after being frozen, I always cook 4 portions and freeze 3 of them. Takes only a little more time when cooking and saves a lot later. You might want to consider different types of exercising. I for example found an online latino dance workout that works very well for me. 15 minutes fly by so quickly and it also brightens my mood, too.
I’m so happy for you for having the courage to talk to us about your weight loss journey and that it’s working. I’m following the same plan as you and seeing results, it’s so mind blowing. Sugar was my big problem but I have been able to get that under control and that has helped. Any recipes you can share would be great. Here’s to getting healthy 🥰
@Cathy Over 50, I have a favorite meal prep: Jamaican Jerk Black Beans, Greens and Rice. It freezes wonderfully (I use the 2C pyrex rectangles). The beans I pre cook in the Instant Pot plain with water. You can either drain or just mix them with lemon juice, JJ seasoning (you can use the jarred stuff at the grocery or a seasoning mix), small amount of EVOO and a chopped onion I prefer red onion but any variety other than green onion will work. Simmer that so the flavors get into the beans. While I do that I put the rice into the IP and get that cooked. Then I prep the kale. You can cook this slightly and then the freezer/microwave finish it. I cook the kale with a small amount of water then toss in garlic granules, salt, pepper, lemon juice and a small amount of EVOO to make the seasonings stick. Can add the everything but the bagel seasoning from Trader Joes and get similar effect. When everything is finished cooking, I pack it up in the glass rectangles putting about a 1/2 C of each in a row so they don't mix. Freeze them. To reheat I put the container lidless upside down on a plate in the microwave for 8-12 minutes. It is very hearty and satisfying. Easy to prepare and use as a main meal. The citrus in the beans and greens helps with getting the iron. The precut/washed kale at Aldi works out great for this and a whole bag will cook down to enough for about 4-5 of these portions. Hope this helps someone!
I enjoyed listening to your story. I am impressed with your honesty...its hard to be vulnerable, but i feel like you heal faster when you are. I am looking forward to your journey! I'm 47...hit early menopause at 43 and then broke my ankle at 46 (all 3 bones...all the joints). I've put on 50lbs and have struggled to lose...can't even maintain. WW has not worked for me the 2nd time around....partially because it was just too much to keep up with. Happy this new eating plan is working for you!
I can so relate to everything you said. All the diet plans and what’s good and what’s bad is so confusing at times. I’m eating too much sugar and fat and i know it.
Thanks for sharing your journey. I need to eat more protein so they is my first goal! It is so hard losing your Mom. I think you never really get over it. ❤
Love your video, I lost 15 pounds in the last year, but I went back to junk eating, I gained 10 again, I was 175, for the first time in my life, I was always skinny, but age arthritis and life happens. Now I’m 159. I want to lose at least 10pounds… my life is very sedentary, Im starting to walk again, 3 times a week (I live in Miami, Fla.) it’s hot here too. By the way Im 77 years young and when I lose some weight my knees feel much better. Sorry for the long comment by I liked you right away. You seem very real to me!! Thank you.❤❤❤
Hi Cathy. Thank you for sharing with us. I have been struggling with weight issues for years. I enjoy all of your videos - you are so relatable. Keep up the good work!
@CathyOver50, thank you for this video! I have similar issues with the hypothyroidism and having had prior success with WW. I too want to change my approach to being more healthy. I’m so proud of you!
When on Weight watchers i only was on 16 points a day it was very hard felt like i was starving. I was lossing weight but who can live forever like this.
I like this. I have been watching, and trying so many things. Vegan, Keto, Carnivore for example. Carnivore was the latest, and I failed, twice. First off, I fail to understand why, and how, eating 4 or 5 eggs, butter and bacon for breakfast you lose weight, but eating a couple of strips of bacon, 2 eggs, and one slice of buttered toast is wrong??? My main problem, has always been sugar. So, I am consciously cutting the need for dessert every day and cutting sugar in as many ways as possible, and just trying to move more. Life it too short to never have anything you love to eat. Just learn to see a treat, as that, a treat, not a daily occurrence.
Hi Cathy I I no want you going through I loss my mam in 20 18 it had l turn to food I going my mam use say looking after yourself l am over weight I am 56 now thank you for your videosxxx
A can relate to what you’re going through. Thanks for being so open about everything. I just found you this morning. I used to walk when it was cool, but it’s too hot here too, I like the Body Project exercise on RU-vid, all stand up and around 30 min. Knitting or crochet works for me when I don’t know what to do with myself.
I went on WW in 2018 and hit goal weight early 2019. When March 2020 came with the lockdowns I was stuck at home and ate plenty of snacks. I am also an emotional eater. I gained 30 back from the 40 that I lost. I want to get back to a healthy weight. Thank you for the encouragement.
I know Cathy! I struggle so much with my weight at this age. Heart problems don't help either, I get edema. The only thing that helps me at this point is carnivore/keto and every other day fast. I have to be careful though.
Hi Cathy I'm from United Kingdom.. I love watching your videos .. I love every word you say 💗 I've been trying so many diets or healthy eating style.. Nothing works.. At this time I'm on slimmingworld and I've lost almost 6 stones .. Good luck from me ❤
Your story is so similar to mine from losing a mom, to going through grief and trying to be a caregiver for a remaining parent all tends to overwhelm and we do give ourselves those treats that are so bad for us. Thank you for sharing your journey. You're right about our thought process and relationship with food. Congratulation on your weight loss Cathy.
oh me too.. would NEVER want to eat a half of an avocado but have no problem downing a big bag of chips..not a single serving size either! I had a counselor tell me that grief is different for everyone. A lot of times our parents prepare us for their death in a way that we don't grieve them they we THOUGHT we would or should but that doesn't mean we are not grieving their death. We also grieve differently with each parent. The first one is the worst but the second one is much easier on us. That was her opinion but it was true for me. I know my mother in her own way prepared us for her death that we were not even aware of.
I'm so happy for you. 1 1/2 years ago my pulmonary doctor told me not to diet but make better choices. I don't need a slab of cake a sliver will taste just as good. I have lost 25 lbs. Is it a lot in 18 months, no, but it is permanent because I'm eating normally. I wish you the best. I'm sorry about your mom. I lost my mother 4 years ago and I understand your pain. I miss my mom so much. When she turned 80 my dad said not to worry. He would push her wheelchair wherever she needed to go. She didnt want that and actually dieted and lost over 100 lbs. She lived to 91. I'm sorry to ramble but this was a subject very close to my heart. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤
I love this video, your message is so important !!! Btw, often, people are overweighted not because of food but because emotionally they don’t give themselves space. They are not fat but blown up by stress (it is fat but the origin of it is stress of compressing or shutting down their emotions. It blocks the digestion, tense muscles that shouldn’t be tense all the time, release others that should hold us…). I have been overweighted till I was 35. Today I’m 49, I eat anything and everything and my weight doesn’t change. Because I learned to take my emotional space. I learned to breathe, to say no, to listen to myself and release unnecessary pressure. I Hope this is helpful 🌸💝🌸
Thank you for posting this. I just found you and I’m so glad I did. I’m 55, 5’2” and 211lbs. Five years ago I was 125. Through a lot of life changes and health issues I have found myself in a place I do not want to be. I can relate to every video of yours that I’ve watched so far and feel it’s real life talk. I can’t wait to watch even more and get back to a healthier, happier me with a positive body image. Thanks again!
I’m 72 5’3 weigh 157 down from 197 over the years I have just started getting up at 7:00 and walking 1/2 mile at first and now can walk 1 mile it’s not so hot at that time in am still need to lose 28 more pounds I liked your video about not following a diet Iplan on trying the food plan you suggested and one thing that has helped me was putting Jesus first and praying about my health and guidance to get back in shape but mostly for my health so I live longer I don’t have many health problems, except lymphedema, arthritis but Ihave found movement is the key. Be proud of yourself for helping others with what you have found out about eating healthy . Pam from Warner Robins Ga.
