This is not a good move for Mech Arena, a strike is too harsh for someone promoting their game. I advice you AD not showing their game on your channel, Armor Attack is the way to go.

They gave a strike for you playing their game? That's both illegal and stupid. They hate the free advertising I guess. Would probably never play their game again.

The issue with the strike is not about MA playing the game or using promo codes. Its related to that specific code generator. I also got a message from the creator of the promo code generator asking me to make content on it. I wasn't sure if it was a scam so I asked the mech arena team about it and they said it was not theirs and not official (codes for in game use are supposed to only come from them). So while it may work, it may be doing it in some illegal fashion. Using a code works but since its all free, its likely taking your information in some other way. I have no way of knowing how they use your info from the generator or what is done behind the scenes but typically when something is free, they are gathering info or something from you for other uses. I also have no way of knowing if MA will ban accounts that use it. I would use this at your own risk. That all said, I think doing more on Armor attack is a good thing. I have ideas of promoting other games soon myself.

It may be someone claiming to be the owner of the game but they’re not and they are trying to take ur channel down(thats a theory cuz i dont think anyone wouldn’t like their game to get advertised

i saw in their discord that: "You may share the content recorded during the specific playtests Most of playtests can be recorded and edited in the way you want, however there will be certain game builds that will lack some features or look too early to show to the mass audience. They can be trusted only to the most passionate players and we would appreciate if you wouldn't share it with anyone ^_^ We will be informing you whether you can share the video content upon the end of our playtests!" However what's weird is that I've seen other youtubers make videos on the game and nothing happened to them. Maybe they actually don't want anyone making videos on their game just yet, and you were just unlucky enough to not have seen this warning, and be the first guy they discovered to be making videos. Or maybe they're giving the other youtubers who made content on armour attack a strike right now. Edit: for people who might misunderstand, I think they mean that you can make videos on the game but you can’t share them to anyone. I think.

Made a comment about denis fox community post about something similar about this. About games and youtube channel potential getting banned and this is pretty much it. Companies can unfortunately do this to people who make videos about their game. Its there property they own everything about it. They usually dont strike since its free advertising but there always that evil side of them that decides to show up.

Mecha prolly gave you the strike because you were not officially promoted by them while being already popular within the warrobots gaming community. It's a low blow imo

WTH PLARIUM?!?! They need to explain themselves. With that one strike you will also be recommended to less people, which sucks at the current state of this channel. I feel like companies are doing this on purpose as it's becoming a more common occurrence, so that the youtubers that they don't like suffer for no reason. Surely you can appeal the strike instead of waiting the 3 months...

What the heck?! Are they striking your channel because you are making videos from other game? Is that what I understood from your explanation. You should contact RU-vid administration right now and report the case to them. Also, I would say you should stop make videos from their games. AD, besides Armor Attack, I would like to recommend you the game Mech Wars Online. It is a cool robot game for mobile and also will be available soon for Steam store. Also, I am now playing a game called Nova Space Armada. If you like MMO space exploration and fleet combat, you should give it a try.

Leave Mech Arena alone AD. That game is worse than WR. $15.99 for slightly meta bots is crazy work and greedy.

Move to Armor Attack AD, giving strike for playing their game is beyond stupid

hi ad bro youtube gave me a strike too 3 years ago for 11 days or so and i couldnt upload videos durring that amount of time, they gave me a warning too cuz they thought my video was against some rules against my video.i was annoyed at youtube for that as well so im also disappointed at that minute when i saw the strike on my channel.i was mad at that point.anyways im gonna leave it there lol before i get mad again. sorry to hear about your strike.

ive heard about strikes first time when supercell started doing this to clash of clans creator Just bc they didnt liked their opinion about the game (the reason of strike - they made Coc content) strikes are getting abused recently, i think if you will get second strike you should stop posting videos of mech arena until they will be gone.
