Do it would be awsome man and your old fella is a top guy see what sponsors etc you can get on engine and bodywork etc in exchange to promote them at the same time 👌
@@BeckyEvans I note with interest your Dad has a car collection and you have done some car examining videos, plus I see a video mentioning a Japanese car collection. Are you like me, liking cars and bikes? I am very guilty of liking British cars myself.
You 100% definitely need to do it - do a colab with a few female builders - each builder can do what they specialise in - would make great viewing and show that gender is no barrier to making a bad ass whip.
Loved this, the bond you have with your dad is so genuine and lovely. He’s a top man and your family history is amazing, no doubt all helping to shape the success you are. Love to see the Mustang restored and the family nostalgia reborn. Keep safe and well and look forward to the next one.
I love your dad his awesome your a very lucky girl to have a dad like that i can see where you get your love for cars from and you should definitely build the Mac 1 i think your dad would love to see it back on the road again and have a lot of fun building it with you
Becky Evans It's lovely to see such a great father-daughter bond. So it appears your Mum was also quite a Petrol head given her daily drive, a few years back. Does your mum avoid the camera?
Your dad is awesome Becky! You need to sit him down and have him run through some stories and old photos on camera. Would love to hear what he was up to back in the day! And you should definitely put that Mustang back on the road where it belongs!
With that beard, and the way your dad comes across as such a nice fella and so mellow. In the kindest way possible he reminds of the image you get led to believe what Santa's like when you're a kid 😂
Your dad is one smashing bloke! So many memories and stories so please let him just talk. I rallied Twin cams and RS1700s in my 20s and been a petrol head (and biker) all my life. I would have loved to have shared all that and so much more of my life with my Dad but I lost him when I was 21 and he was 52. Coincidentally that was 52 years ago. But your Dad is right about never burning out. Just keep going, never let the b*stards grind you in the dust and live your dreams as you only get one shot at all this. And yes bring that Mustang back to life.
You gotta rebuild it. The picture you showed of the minted yellow one looked awesome. Try to replicate that. Also, it's cool listening to your Dad talking about cars and telling stories of his racing past. He should have his own channel doing that.
Had me in tears , my dad died at 55 , 20 years ago. Your dad is just brilliant, keep him going and don't burn him out. Yes..... repair that lovely mustang pleeeeeease 😊 Find a way to do it , you only live once. Enjoy life 👍
Becky: “next project will be on a budget” Me: “probably not something too special but it could have potential” Becky: “1970s” Me: “could be a Granada? Ooooo” Becky: “it’s a Mach 1 mustang” Me: “WHAT!?!” 😂
Yes you deffinately should do it I remember restoring a corvette stingray with my dad it was the most rewarding project I've ever done. Not only would your dad enjoy it but I get the distinct impression you're man would enjoy it as well. Also want to say you're dad comes across as very interesting chap would love to see you do more vlogs with him.
I am sure your dad is so proud of you Becky and like wise easy to see you love him... Can't wait to see the mustang completed...YES We all know its going to happen. 😜
Nice vid!!! I graduated in 92, enjoyed the video with your Dad! C6 trans is very strong 3 speed, 351 needs more horses, build a 600 hp race motor and you got a nice rocket. Look forward to the build!
I would love to build the engine stronger and faster, it needs far more power! Dad said that the trans was a good one, just the engine is lazy.. I will see what can be done!
Becky your Dad actually brought a tear to my eye tonight. I’m a father, if I can give my little boy of 8 some advice it will be this “do your burnouts, but never burnout” ❤️
Your dad seems such an amazing gent! And in regards to the mustang if you’re in a position to get her back on the road I wouldn’t even be questioning it, be such a good sentimental restoration. Also a bonus that once it’s finished it would be such a cool thing to roll round in! I’m sure your dad would enjoy the extra room in the garage and would be chuffed to get a chance to drive the car 👍
Becky! If you want to get the Mustang in order and need parts, turn to Sweden, there are a lot of parts to get hold of here. Sweden is the country outside the USA that has the most parts for American cars.
You definitely need to give that Mustang a new lease of life. Great project and I’m sure your dad would love to see it on the road again. Having a racing dad is great, my old man raced bikes and then cars. You were the cool kid in class when asked what you did at the weekend “watched dad race his Jag at Silverstone!” 😂
100% do it, my mates dad has a pontiac firebird transam like the smokey and the bandit one, he's been restoring for all of my life.... I've never seen it leave the garage looks awesome though.
Just watched on my god you and your dad have definitely got to get that Mustang back on the road in it’s original colour looks great in yellow and black. That’s something I would definitely watch and like to see. Oh by the way your dad is brilliant what a guy. 👍👍
Your dad's a diamond. I grew up in a very manly household, but as a girl I was never really allowed to partake in the 'man stuff'. I have such a passion for cars that my dad doesn't share (he's more into motorcycles). I wish I had just 1% of the support that your dad clearly shows for you, so lucky
@@BeckyEvans For sure. Step by step. The memories this car has for you and your family you can't buy. The car is in good condition overall. Shame to see it not been used.
Wow great Vid wasnt ecpecting that a Mustang haha.. You've got to do it be Awesome in Yellow with Black Bonnet next to ya Beemer cant wait for you to start the Re-Build Get James to muck in too....
You definitely need to rebuild it..... I just know your dad will be involved..... find that Workshop soon please.... I cannot wait to see what happens 😊
I actually gasped when you said what it was. I love the look of that mustang and 1973 was the year I was born and I just think a car from the year I was born would be so cool, please restore it p.s. your dad is as cool as ever
Okay! You got me! I’m subscribed now! Definitely following to see what happens with this build! Please! No more Apple drilling now! 🤪 Good luck and have fun with this build! Looking forward to seeing more of it!
Also, I absolutely used to love apple drilling, until one day the apple slipped on the drill bit and nearly took my finger with it..so that was the end of that 😂😂😂
Its a worthwhile build, with real investment potential, yet still very affordable. Much better at this time for the bank, as long as you attempt to keep the serial numbers matching.
Love this video Becky, your dad is just so cool, you defo need to do a special q&a video with him I am sure we would all love to hear some stories etc!
Yes do it for your dad Becky such a nice man I'm only young compared to your dad 63 yrs young but I'm still doing trackdays use to road rally but I think it would brilliant for your dad to have the car done!! 👍👍
