The ending scene was fucking powerful. Mapleshade accepting her wounds and battle scars as an act of love for her children. Her children watching on from star clan, confused and sad to never see her again. Her victims angry and watching the punishment she deserves. And then Mapleshade, smiling sadly, almost insanely, as she accepts her place in the dark forest.

I would have loved to see one of mapleshade’s kits somehow survive without her knowing. if one did, than later on they could continue the “job” mapleshade didn’t finish.
Mapleshade: let’s go over this clearly dangerous river, my very young and helpless children :D Children: *dies* Mapleshade: :0 Mapleshade has no reason to kill someone. And blame them for her faults.

@@phlutes46 Absolutely. Some people might say that the river flooded AFTER Mapleshade started crossing, but that's not true. The river was already flooded, it was storming, and her kits even warned her about crossing. Mapleshade put her moon-old children in danger due to lack of basic intelligence, ignorance, and recklessness

SPOILERS FOR MAPLESHADE’S VENGEANCE Honestly I noticed that Mapleshade seemed to become more insane with each cat she killed. When she killed Robinwing, she was patient and made sure not to get caught. When Mapleshade killed Frecklewish, she wasn’t as careful, but didn’t decide to kill her right out in the open. When she accidentally killed Appledusk, she didn’t even try to hide and murdered him right in front of Reedshine.
0:33 WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS PART? Firstly, that transition though!! And then, the jumpity jump just got me and it’s just so smooth and elegant even though they’re killing someone. AHHHH!

I feel so bad for Mapleshade, She lost her kits, her clan and her mate. Many people don’t like her for turning evil because of that but I think she’s a great character and we need more female villains
Nobody realizes that mapleshade was a serial killer, she was not "mad with grief" i mean yea, she did get her heart broken but she did this to herself and people forgot everything she did in her novella. The book lets people forget that she is evil. She is fricking crazy she killed her kits in a river but people might say that "she didn't kill her kits " but she should have known the river was extremely dangerous. And not to mention, she did not get Punished at all. Well besides going to hell and getting exiled. But she is bad, a naughty cat! Nobody besides a few people justify it very well. (This is just MY opinion, go and make your own comments or videos if you about mapleshade being a good cat) after a few years of coming back this still is a great MAP.

To be honest, what else could she have done? Not doing anything would leave her kits dead and her as a heart broken rogue. Her revenge seems justified. Maybe not the few ways she did it, but in her eyes she was trying to repay them for her kits deaths. It really is a tragedy what happened to her.
I just want a comic of a kittypet with Potterhead housefolk, and they are named Ravenclaw. The clans are confused why a kittypet has a warrior name, but take them in anyway. Rumors spread that they were like Pinestar and left the clans to be a kittypet, but the cat will live forever with the knowledge that they were just named by a Potterhead
This is probably my favorite Warriors MAP, I just love it so much! Mapleshade is one of my favorite characters and I think you portrayed her really nicely! Also the animation and transition overall was fabulous and fit really nicely!!!!!!

Absolutely. *Destroyed me.* I have a lot of love to give to my daughter okay (I know she probably doesn't deserve the *entire* amount of sympathy she gets, considering she murdered multiple cats, but still.)

I just realized something, mapleshade cursed appledusks bloodline and she punished crookedstar who was related to appledusks by silverstream dieing who was crookedstar's daughter then if you think about it, it goes farther. Graystripe was silverstream's mate and he lived so long he saw all his friends die. Then stormfur who was graystripe's son suffered the death of feathertail the eventually his father. Edit: stormfur also was banished from the tribe for a while along with watching his mentor stonefur die
1:47 is my favorite part, don't get me wrong that all parts are beautiful! But this one sticks out to me, it's animated beautifully and shows how evil Mapleshade truly is.
UUMMMM OMG I’ve been waiting for this!! I knew it’d be amazing, but WOW this blew me away!! The transitions were SOO good, it felt like it was all just 1 big piece and not choppy at all!! And the animators, WOOOOOOOOOOOW! Talk about talent! Amazing job!

I literally love 0:33 its just so smooth and I love how the fighting looks. I love all the Mapleshade videos, but they always portray it as Mapleshade very easily killing everyone with one hit, which wasn't the case. I loved this whole MAP It's incredible!!
What a cheerful way to start out Christmas! Seriously though this looks AWESOME!! Everyone did amazing with their parts and the finished product was definitely worth the wait. And can we all just take a moment to appreciate that hidden gem at the end?

Time to sound like a complete psychopath! If I were MapleShade, I honestly would have drowned AppleDusk to make him feel the same pain his kits had gone through. Love this map! :D has to be one of my favorites!
@@0.721x he did still have to go through the pain of drowing- though mapleshade did sort of deserve better than that. Though she could have handled her "revenge" differently
@@ItzTundra053he didn’t actually drown in canon and Mapleshade is a lot worse in the books I would not take the words of what other people say. I would suggest trying to read the book but it has very subtle signs of her being an abuser in it although people will keep ignoring it
