In the US we have a phrase "practice makes perfect". Yes. The more time you sit at the wheel and use clay the more it becomes second nature. When I first began (I'm a professional photographer / videographer) pottery I became obsessed. I would go in the morning at 5am and leave at 8:30am and sometimes I would return at night at 7pm for an hour or two. I could see my skill set quickly improving during this time. I would guess your vocational pottery school must have improved your skills so quickly.

Thank you for your comment. It's the same way of thinking in America as it is in Japan. If you practice a lot, you will improve quickly and pottery will be fun. I think you put in a lot of effort.
