One thing the country should know is that why NRC and biometric not allowed by the Kukis.

The erstwhile Manipur/Kangleipak Kingdom pre- early-mid 1700's, being ruled by strong, fierce, brave and courageous Kings such as- Khagemba, Pamheiba, etc, was extremely powerful and intimidating in the entire Western Southeast Asian Region (WESEAR). However, post- mid-late 1700's, somehow, over the course, the Kingdom and the rulers got progressively weakened. Some kuki/kuh ki (Persian = people of the Eastern Patkai/Arakan mountain ranges) wild tribes i.e. sukte, khongjai/khongsai (aka khun chai/thokpa), etc. were initially imported/invited from OUTSIDE the southside of the Kingdom by the then Meitei Kings around mid-late 1700's. Later, as the erstwhile Kingdom got progressively weakened (due to multi-factorial "issues!") around early-mid 1800's, the British simultaneously started importing more n more khongjais from the southside aka chin n sagaing regions of burma/myanmar; and implanted in the unadministered hills (the so-called "Selected Area Development Administrative Region" aka SADAR Hills aka the present-day Kangpokpi Dist.) surrounding the Manipur Valley (to act as a "buffer-zone" to protect/defend the kingdom against the frequent raids by the northern Angami tribes) in the last 200-300 yrs only...and thus CREATED the MOST HORRIFIC FAULTLINES ever in the history of Manipur... HOWEVER, recently, those "indigenous/native" Manipuri Kukis started importing more and more of their kind and NOW they've started claiming this land as theirs. The British intentionally and wilfully trifurcated the Kuki-Zo-Chin's ORIGINAL HOMELAND aka Chin hills/state of 🇲🇲 + Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 + Lushai hills aka Mizoram of 🇮🇳, politically between and amongst those 3 countries (🇲🇲 🇧🇩 🇮🇳), as a retribution for their failed uprising/revolt/rebellion (1917-19) NOT anglo-kuki war (instigated by Sanajaoba, a meitei, to overthrow Maharaj Churachand, a meitei king, by promising reduced house taxes) against the British's policy (for recruitment of kukis as laborers/porters under manipur labor corps) during WW1 (1914-18). As a centrist Meitei, I wholeheartedly support and endorse the creation of a Separate Administration or a New Sovereign Nation/Country, specifically and exclusively for the Kuki-Zo-Chin people, aka Kukiland/Zale'ngam/Zogam, comprising of and consolidating the Chin hills/state of 🇲🇲, the Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 and the Lushai hills aka Mizoram of 🇮🇳. It's about time the 🇲🇲 junta, the 🇧🇩 govt and the 🇮🇳 govt hand back over the chin hills, the chittagong hill tracts and the lushai hills, respectively, to the kuki zo chin people (which rightfully belonged to their ancestors). Imaginary "DREAM" land- kukiland = Churachandpur + Pherzawl + Noney + Kangpokpi + Kamjong + Tengnoupal + Chandel districts, of UNITED MANIPUR! REAL ORI kukiland = chin hills of 🇲🇲 + chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 + lushai hills/mizoram of 🇮🇳 !

This is the case. The violence was started by Biren using his private militia. He was able to do it only becoz he got the blessings of the New Delhi. Without blessings from Delhi, no state CM or govt can do all this. Their mistake was they miscalculated it; they underestimated the Kukis. Perhaps their assumption was that Kukis will surrender. Which never happened. After all this has happened, Delhi realised its mistakes and wants to solve the problem now. But can't come up with a a concrete step. President rule would have been the first step to solution but BJP is very critical about PR and dont want to impose it. Changing Biren is another option. But there is nobody to replace him. Nobody wants to take charge of CM after all this mess. Thus, solution is not coming soon.

In both these cases, the NRC process will be implemented without any reservation and the Meiteis can have their ST status. Alternately, if the Meiteis and Nagas don't agree with the said options, they both can have NRC and ST status (for the Meiteis) -- just as they wished and live together 'peacefully' forever in Manipur.

Very educated person without "Laishu (ethics)" interpreted english sentences related with serious issues of Manipur in the way of befooling the Meiteis only for his political gain. It is just like befooling the people of India by Mr. Sam Pitroda Congress Ji's uncle with his statement that North East people (Meitei etc.) looks like Chinese.

First, there are many sane voices among meitei communities who are afraid to raise their voices. I have friends from meitei communities who admit that biren singh did nothing, that arambais and leepuns had created fear psychosis among common meiteis and instigated the mass to act against Kuki-Zo people. The sane meiteis also admit the one sided nature of the entire state machinery but sadly they are afraid.

Manipur remained silent for 10 years from 2014 to 2023 but exploded again. Home Minister Amit Shah stayed in Manipur for 10 days to find a solution. Can a Home Minister stay and wait for 10 long days? The Home Minister will not allow poppy cultivation and illegal migration. What have you achieved by indulging in violence for 225 years? Do you have any permanent solution that is acceptable to the whole people for discussion with the elected representatives? The newly elected 2 MPs are responsible for finding the solution. However, the new Manipur MPs have shifted the responsibility to the MLAs of Manipur by mentioning that the PM should call MLAs to Delhi and discuss the solution.
