Quick question: Maggie, are you going to do a third playthrough after you found out that everything youre trying to interpret is part of Senuas psychosis? I like your theories as usual, but they feel a bit off. ;) Ninja Theory actually has great short documentaries about making this game which are well worth watching!
@@Kastaclysm Just a mean comment from me, nothing to see here, and I am used to wait for stuff. ;) Recommendation for Hellblade 2 btw, its an experience. Not sure if that was in this episode or not, but is there a recording of Slay the Princess? I guess you played that on Twitch?
Thanks maggie, again for the exciting playthrough. I had my reservations about this game back when it was released and had no interest. But guess what, I just finished it a couple days ago and just purchased the sequel which launches for PC and XBox in 16 hours. This awesome, because I felt like Senua's journey was not complete-there had to be more to the story. Also, a tip, to view the runes you've missed, click Chapter Selection from the menu-although, like most of us, you probsbly already know that. Also from the menu, is the "Hellblade Feature(warning: this exerpt has spoilers)". For me, this feature explained the basis of the games enlightment and not necessarily the lore behind it. It's an amazing way to express what's going through a person's unbalanced mind, much like Alan Wake-although, is unbalanced the correct definition?
Not sure anyone would consider having Psychosis to be "a gift" and it kinda feels like you would be gaslighting someone by telling them that, but I don't think I would consider it a "curse" either. Back in the late 8th century (when this game takes place) people didn't understand anything about mental illness, hence why they saw it as a curse, so makes sense why some might call it a gift to counter act the idea that its a curse when it comes to someone they love very deeply. Still not sure Maggie understands that Senua suffers from Psychosis, otherwise I think her interesting theorizing would be a little more on point. Even so, I like how much Maggie its trying to piece everything together :)
Hi Maggie, I forgot to comment on the last video, but the story in this game is quite good and the combat had me on the edge of my seat....especially at the end😳. Keep up the good work Maggie, love your content👍.
I was obsessed with this game since it came out. But man does it look great with ray tracing now. But yeah fuck Microsoft for not marketing part 2 and prob gonna fire ninja theory and fuck them over too. Hopefully Ninja Theory gets a good home somewhere else
