When i was 20th yo,i fell in love with this song.having fun and sing this song with friends and boom!! 2012, I meet this man and work with him as a crew in his solo project Almost 7 years and sometimes i have lucky moments to play guitar in His concert and playing this Amazing song. this humble Man doesn't smoke or drink Alcohol and he also a religious guy. 🤘

about the dagger thing, i guess it has something to do with rhymes. They needed a word that contrasts the connotation of the previous word "hati" (heart), but similar in rhyme. So, "belati" was chosen. This song is written in poetic fashion, served in a comedic style, but performed with extraordinary skills. P.S: As you may notice, he constantly grab something out of nowhere, each time he says "belati". Water scoop, flipflop, toothbrush, a patch from his friend's back, but neither of them were dagger, so he threw them all away. Except for the last one when he finally drew the dagger. So hilarious :D

Dagger among other knives, is often associated to a knife only known for killing or violence. I think that's why they used word "pisau belati" (dagger) in their lyric.

Seurieus, the word seuri means small laughing in Sundanese, like where they come from, Bandung, in tatar sunda. Put eus syllable at the end to sound like english word Serious, that's the irony of the band.

Seurieus when you say it it's sound like serious... But every song of them are not serious so many joke in the lyrics 😁😁😁 But they verry seriously make so many great rock music.
