Yeah during their release I saw 3 all of which ran away but after that I have not even seen any even after using so many incenses.

My theory: I think it helps if you travel far from home. My wife caught a Galarian Zapdos on a regular throw on our trip to Mexico, under rain, on our last day there, at the airport, right before we got on the plane back to Peru.

Pinch out so you have a good view all round. I find they tend to appear behind you. If you’re low down, it’s easier to miss them.

Those cp values are pretty decent for having good odds of catching. Since I started playing the game again a couple months ago, I’ve only had two encounters, both over 2,000 cp. I used my master ball on my first one. The second one gave me two tries, both throws were great curveballs with ultra ball and golden razzberry, but still couldn’t catch it.

Same, I recently found a galarian moltres and even though I've never caught one normally (I've thrown a masterball at my galarian arcticuno bc that was the one I really wanted) I gave it a golden raspberry and threw a hyperball at it and it actually stayed in first try (even though I completely missed the catch circle)

I was thinking the same thing, that maybe they were appearing more frequently. I saw both Articuno and Zapdos around Halloween or after but only caught the articuno and a zero star.

I got 3 birds, all in the month of January 2023, and never anything before or after lol. It was the craziest few weeks. One was a critical catch as well.

Easier to catch? I encountered the galarian birds 7 times with a golden razz and excellent curveballa, and still get the usual "oh, sorry, old chap! It appears your pokeball was made of tissues and baby powder! Im off to dissapear for anotber 3-4 weeks! Ta-ta!"

I use the daily incense everyday- haven’t seen one of the birds in weeks now. When I have encountered them I’ve not been able to catch them. I was just three raid wins away from getting the master ball when I encountered Galarian Moltres with CP of 2700.

I’ve only ever caught one (two UBs, Great Throw each time), and it was a 47 CP Articuno. I imagine the low CP is the only reason I caught it at all.

I’ve been doing daily incenses ever since it started. Yes there have been weeks where I have not played but I have not seen a bird for a month, have interacted with well over 20 times and have yet to catch a single one. I used my master ball for a Hundo legendary and now I’m dead on the inside. Thank you niantic for making this game so much fun!!!😁

Had 2 in the last week and only used daily incense 3 times. Caught zapdos with master ball and articuno with a golden razz great throw. The articuno spawned right on my house as I got home 😂

🇮🇳: Thru daily incense, a Galarian Zapdos spawned when I was too much exploring. On that day, I caught 19 pokemons from Adventure incense and completed 3 Research Tasks and 1 route also... I thought, this was the reason probably I encountered one Galarian bird. But unfortunately, That messy bird flew😭 just after 1 throw. It was my 1st legendary encounter and I missed it... I regret why I didnt use the Master Ball.. 2774CP Galarian Zapdos.

Articuno is back in raids. I did 4 raids, and caught 4 of them! I given the orange berry and have hit excellent throws, but they break free. But one got caught with a great throw and the three others with just regular “no label” throws, and all caught. But they seem easier now to catch. Now watch me miss the next few raids 😂😂😂

I caught 2500+ Zapdos with a great throw & golden razz after trying to get one for a year. I messed up on a Articuno & Moltres though.. Fact that actually have even seen 3 in a month is huge for me because since they released them them I’ve only seen 2 Zapdos & 1 Articuno.

I've had the opposite experience. I used to encounter Zapdos and Articuno fairly often but I haven't seen them in 2 months now. I've also never seen a Moltres. Until this video I didn't even think it was possible for them to NOT RUN after breaking out of the ball.

I caught one Galarian zapdos. I used one of my master balls (I only have 2). I’ve only seen one, mainly, a year since 2022. The first one (moltres) I didn’t know what the hell was happening and masterballs didn’t exist lol, first zapdos I biffed the throw

I’ve seen articuno twice, zap. 3 times and Moltres 3 times. Every single one ran on me. Next time, I finally used 1 master ball to catch the next one I saw which was a moltres. I’d say odds are still bad for me, very sad 😭

I found a spot near my house, where I encounter at least one bird every 2-3 days walking there at night. I have caught one so far, but have encountered probably around 15 of them in total. The odds are still pretty low in my experience. I did caught the only one on a great throw though :D

I caught a Zapdos before I even knew what Galarian birds were or that they're rare. It wasn't until I was looking at my legendary Pokemon and realized the Zapdos was in there.

3 articuno, 3 zapdos and 1 moltres. I played something like 60/90 times with daily incense. Something like 9 birds escape. Most of them I catch the first month after release and later I really didn’t understood if I am not so lucky or they just don’t appear so frequently.

I’ve had 3 articunos flee on me in the past 2 months!!! Golden razz, ultra ball and luckily an excellent throw, and each time it’s fled on the first throw…it honestly starting to piss me off.

I only caught a galarian artícuno because of the master ball other than that I encountered moltres 4/5 times and everytime even if excellent with gold berries, flees !
