If you want to fix the powered rail issue, try bud powering the rails. Its hard to explain exactly how to bud power rails verbally but video tutorials exist. To sum it up, rails will power any rails next to them. If a rail is being powered by both by another rail as well as a power source, then you remove that power source, the rail will stay on. The only difference is that rails further down the chain never get updated so they remain on when they shouldn't. Once again if you want to learn more about how it works, there is plenty of information on youtube and google. However, my personal suggestion is to avoid so many hoppers all together. Putting a hopper minecart system underneath surprisingly would be much more lag efficient as hoppers are possibly the most laggy block in the game. It would also speed up the transfer rate of items as hopper minecarts are much faster than traditional hoppers. If you decide to use a system like that, i would suggest using one hopper minecart for two lanes. Also, shortening down the track from 15 wide to 14 wide so you can get a nice even distribution would definitely be a plus. then again, its up to you. I mean if i wanted to make this game as efficient as possible, i would have used TNT dupers falling from above and shot at mobs in bubble columns spawing from a mob spawner down below ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@wasp795 reading back now, you're definitely right. I made an update to my comment but if you're interested in learning more about how budded rails work, you can find plenty of tutorials online :)
A way to fix the powered rails is to place the redstone blocks above the rails, but that may look ugly and ruin the game. So instead, you could have a hopper minecart running underneath the redstone blocks and picking up/dropping off the chest minecarts. This way you wont have to worry about powering the hopper minecart's rails as the redstone blocks above already do that. I hope this helps! Great work too!
Not gonna lie, I appreciate you adding proper closed captions/subtitles/whatever you wanna call them in your videos. I appreciate you putting in at least some effort (unlike other RU-vidrs with magnitudes more subscribers) into making sure that everyone can watch your videos
To fix the item update speed, you could instead have little 3x3 sections of hoppers feeding into a hopper going down, then use a comparator to check items flowing through. Redstone transmits faster than items, of course, so it would take at maximum 4 hopper ticks before the score is detected by the game
a row of hopper minecarts that also go down the tracks to pick up the items and place them in any hopper it passes over would probably help to make sure that there are no items stuck on redstone blocks
Dear gerg, please find a way to make Checkers playable with concrete powder. Maybe it doesn't have to actually move the powder diagonally, cuz that'd be awkward, maybe it can just be under the board?
You should make a natural disaster mini-game. (These are not that natural) the first one could be TNT rain. There could be lots of places to hide but the TNT would blow up your cover. Next there could be a flood but suddenly it’s disappears dropping you to the floor. Lastly there could be one where certain blocks disappears making you fall to bedrock. Additionaly it could get quicker and quicker. You may also add a twist with one random person that has a nockback stick and is trying to sabotage other players.
I’d use a signal strength type system so minecarts must be more than two away from each other so you can’t run into impossible situations, edges should also count, but with a one block buffer instead
I remember making almost the same minigame in Minecraft after watching a mumbo jumbo video about mini games showcasing this exact minigame (maybe with different mechanics cuz it was like 3 to 4 years ago)
Gerg honestly deserves way more subs Currently only 260k? i actually thought he was a multi-million sub youtuber but i guess not enough people have seen his stuff we must spread the word the Minigame King is here
i think this minigame would be more intense if you had another player dispensing the tnt minecarts, but the chest ones are still random. to make sure they cant just spam all of them, give them a multishot crossbow with quick charge, and add some sort of way to activate them using arrows (my idea was using pressure plates, but they would just get stuck down)
For the redstone block problem just put hopper carts under with them going into the hopper system and there is another problem: there is a small chance that your crossbow and arrows drop onto the pressure plates, keeping the game running until one explosion inevitably destroys them so just put hopper carts under the block under the pressure plates ( you cant put a normal hopper under the pressure plates because hoppers only pick up from right above them but whatevers above them is powering the pressure plates, locking the hoppers)!
You can fix the power thing by making bugged powered rails. Look up instant signal with rails or something like that and there should be a tutorial on how to power them in a special way to make them think they're powered for a longer distance than they think
Hopper minecarts under the redstone blocks should work... You can theorically also put the redstone blocks over the tracks instead of bellow It... but probable would bebad for the minigame If You make the minigame a decending ramp instead of a line You could just use normal rails I guess... Putting alternating powerd rails and activator rails maybe would work
Quick suggestion: add hoppers that put random items in the chest minecarts to act as power ups. Some ideas would be low durability multishot crossbows, firework rockets for area dmg, splash healing potions and (idk if this works) eggs to spawn chickens on the rails to intercept some tnt minecarts or just shields.
If you try putting red stone blocks under the rails near the start then have a bunch of Minecraft rail carts underneath, that should probably fix the items staying on the track issue. Just keep the track just the way it is in the tnts blast radious
Make a minigame called slime shooter and there are a bunch of slime blocks on sticky pistons in a plus shape formation and inside all of the gaps is a drop to lava. Every player is given a punch 2 bow to knock the other player off. The last player bouncing wins. The pistons are all powered by an observer repeater or something else because you can't refresh your Minecraft world with the observer repeater.
Love this new type of videos .. so much more exciting!! Keep it And if you'd like to remake all your minigame shorts into videos of this type we will be very thankful and we will watch it all!
10:50 minecart hoppers can take items trough a floor(put a hopper under the redstone block with a 1 block gap, put a rail on it, put a hopper cart on top of the rail, remove the rail, and there, now you can hook up the hoppers to the system and voila!)
If you put the dispenser closer to the conparator so when the axe is chosen, it activated the one to the sides to could make a great alternative with minecart coming in a "barage" way (maybe lower the chance then. Also could probably fix the chest not being pick up by either using minecart hopper witchery
Hopper Minecarts can pick items up above any block, so putting a row of them under the redstone blocks and hooking them up to hoppers will fix the issue.
you should make a minigame where someone is a hider and someone is a seeker and the hider has to survive 1-2 min on different levels from a seeker the hider can use points from wins on each level to buy different items like invisibility pots and stuff... hope u use this idea
Problems: 1: the chest minecarts could get blown up by the tnt if they drop at the perfect time 2: the tnt duration seems VERY fast, i would have it like shoot half as fast as it does now(but keep the 1/7 chance, we dont want it to be too easy) 3: instead of making all rails powered, make some normal rails, and add buttons somewhere that you can press to divert tracks 4: make it a survival game too with many people playing at once
Use a hopper minecart collection system instead of The Hoppers. It will fix the items not being collected. Also allows for whatever color background you want under the rails. And you can even use the same Redstone blocks powering the top rails, to power the collection rails underneath
To add to that, give players filled shulkers with iron nuggets to eventually craft blocks of iron, also include enchantment stuff to make feather falling boots, this minigame is amazing
You can put hopper minecarts under the redstone blocks to fix the chests not going in the point system, and you could make the chests go into a water stream under the minigame instead of that long line of hoppers to make the points register faster.
Idea. Add a money system and make it so that you have to buy what crossbow you use (base one is free, QC+Multishot is most expensive), and you would have to buy a certain amount of wooden axes to distribute to the dispensers however you like. It would add some more strategy, and you could make it so that the better you do the more money you get. You would play this with two players, one buying the axes and one buying the crossbow, and after however many rounds you would switch and whoever has the most money in the end wins. You could play also add variations like each player plays one round at a time or whatnot. There are a ton of easy possibilities.
I wanna see a minigame similar to drip drop, where a player tries to kill another in a cage, but they control mobs (blazes or skeletons, maybe even breezes) that shoot projectiles to be able to pop out of the ground and go back in after a second. Maybe have a time limit or something?
hi gerg I congratulate you for the wonderful video and for this idea, I would like to ask you, could you put a litemarica file/a world with this mini game so that I can recreate it? 😅
I really love when creators explain the process behind what they made, especially yours! Suggestion for a minigame: Players are each given 5 - 10 Breeze Eggs, and the arena is made of 1 to 2 trapdoor layers. The goal is to see who lasts the longest. With the Breezes, you could set up traps across the arena for players to dodge. (Blocks Breaking by explosion is turned off, and players can't kill breezes or break blocks.)
so regarding the tnt minecarts: you can shoot them when they move, but not if they are detonated by activator rails, once the tnt is lit you can not shoot them regardless of whether they move or not source: singleplayer test world that i tried this in
To fix the chest minecarts not beeing picked up place a hopper minecart under the redstone blocks and it will collect all the items laying on the ground.
Yep pick up the items no matter what, you can have hopper minecarts pick up the items from a later below, and have them only dispensed when the game is running, to save on lag
To get around the items on the tracks you can move the hoppers lower and add hopper minecarts going back and forth under the redstone blocks and filter them into the system
im not 100% sure that this works on ignited tnt minecarts, but a flame bow might explode the tnt minecarts sooner than normal, you could use that legally if you update this minigame in the future
do a mini game where players receive stacks of blocks to build up, with other craft-able items, they receive levitation for 4:00 minutes, and try to get as high as possible without dying, with blocks such as planks to craft a crafting table, cobble to build up, dirt, bonemeal, and seeds to make hay blocks (this is like dream's 1,000,000$ manhunt clutch) and make it survivable
Fix: put obsidian under the rails, then leave a block out place another row of obsidian where hopper minecarts are going so they collect items through the obsidian block and hopefully bring the chestminecart faster to the scorer than the hoppers 😊
