I'm glad I was there to witness this live. Shout out to our hero Baiwan. Includes an unsummonable DPE fusion destiny package just so we know he is still human despite the godly strats he was demonstrating. And just when he has game locked up, he gracefully DC-ed so as not to crush his opponents spirit? A true chad among men.
That last duel was like watching the final match of the tournament arc where both the protagonist and the rival are having a crazy duel, giving it their all, making the crowd go wild at every turn and becoming legends. Only for the rival to be disqualified because they spelled their name wrong on the tournament registration paper.
This has to be one of the most humiliating Victories to have. Imagine just going in turn after turn and having all your plays get outmached by someone who is clearly 4 parallel universes ahead of you only to win by a connection failure, while you were left with nothing. No more plays, the last plan went up in smoke and a deck completely drained of everything. Props to that Shaddoll player for the creativity and the strategy.
Every time people forget Shaddoll is an archetype of Flip monsters, some madman shows up to remind them. And today that madman just so happens to be The Tindangler.
@@saskara6641 technically they activate at end of damage calc, but point still stands as its very hard to counter. Also they while still on field activate in Grave as well
The deck is 52 cards because they forgot 6 of them. But none of those 6 were malicious. Half the DPE package is in their so that when their opponent plays pilgrim reaper, as they predicted, they would THINK DPE was possible and try to stop it.
Aw such an awful ending. This was an amazing duel. Anime levels of just awesome back and forth and I can't believe they both met using the most random hilarious decks. I also love how they noticed the guy couldn't make dpe. Glad the decklist was saved.
The weirdest part about the verte pass play, was he didn't even try to use verte. So that makes me think he knows it doesn't make dpe, if that's the case why not fix his deck to be able to make dpe? I can't think of any reason why he didn't even activate verte
God, subterror and shaddoll in one Deck? This right here is the kind of deck that makes me drool. Just imagining how I could annoy the hell out of my opponents by endlessly denying them is just so damn tempting :3
I think I found a deck to play lmao... to make it even better use Magicalized Fusion and you can make Quintet Magician because a lot of the Shadolls are spellcasters for a nice board wipe.
