I love her proud and joyful expression. So many ballerinas do incredible things and then hunch their backs, embarassed, in a weird need of being "humble" that cuts the magic off. Well done, Summer. Happy, elegant till the end. Congrats on the beautiful work. ❤
Do you think this is due to the culture the school seems to have created? All of the dancers seem to be both confident and supportive in the few videos I have watched.
In my experience, the hunching thing has been because we're all so freaking tired at the end of the combination/variation that we're desperate to relax the intense body control we've been holding. It's probably humility for some dancers, but I've seen tired far more often.
Girlllllllll, that ballet dancer is AMAZING, her body control is incredible. I'm a ballet dancer since I was 5 and watching her since my point of view she's a complete ballerina ❤🩰
@@carles03it looks like she's doing the viral dance done by the beautiful girl wearing dark red. That girl also was the same amount off beat so it looks like she's just move for move doing it exactly like the girl in the video. But hey you keep being jealous and bitter and leaving hate comments on a talented young lady's video and she'll keep being young beautiful talented and literally everything ANY woman would LOVE to be and EVERY man would LOVE to marry. I know who I'd rather be. Go fix your life. Read a book. Go make friends in the real world and fix your familial relationships. Then you won't have to be so bitter mean jealous and miserable anymore. 🤷♀️💁 Have a nice weekend.
@@carles03 as a dancer (and maybe u r too), this is very impressive and takes lots of strength to do so! i have been dancing for some time and its really hard, and the way she dances so elegantly is nice too! you can tell that shes trying to keep up with the music, shes not deaf. and if the coach doesnt like it, the coach would definitely correct her! maybe they are also in awe of the amazing talent. Anyway,I, and many other people are amazed by her talent!
I LOVE that this has become a thing in Ballet. So beautiful, as close to flight as can be. More beautiful every day. Thank you for sharing. I was a lifer but stepped out, I’m 50, but I think I might get back in w a new mindset. Flying over dancing. Just so happens I FULLY appreciated the flat tire swing today. Thank you AGAIN for your part in my reality upgrade. 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Absolutely beautiful, you dance elitist need to chill. It's obvious this wasn't a show practice, just a moment of fun and great display of technique. If you honestly can't see that then y'all chose not to look.
There is. It’s simple: do only as many clean and tight pirouettes as will actually fit within the phrase. Save the nine slow pirouettes for a different variation.
That segment would usually put in 2 to 4 pirouettes for most dancers. In real performance, beyond that is just frantic and gets you out of music. But...no harm in messing around sometimes!
Wonderful! So precise. I danced en Pointe for 13 years, danced a total of 18 years. I never became close to being so precise and capable. Obviously I never made it professionally, but it was still so joyous and fulfilling. I got out before my feet were destroyed long-term, bur just barely. I appreciate seeing the talented pros so very much, and I feel such love and encouragement for them. I especially love and appreciate those who do and have what I can't. It's as if they are able to fulfill my dreams as well as theirs❤.
Yes, great work and lovely use of face. The face was authentic and natural, not fake. You are surely chasing the principle role yet! A great effort and watch. Nice!😊
Once, a ballerina in my class was scolded for doing more spins than the tempo of the music allows. The teacher said that being a good dancer is not about how many pirouettes you can do, but how you can keep time with the music better.
I've read a lot of comments regarding this topic, and I have to say, as one who got free lessons because my teacher thought I was so uncanny and a singer and dancer like me came along once in a lifetime, dancers do that. Professional dancers aren't quite in sync (No pun intended) all the time. They are still in tune and believe me, it's not like singing a song in the wrong key. For me, this topic by the commenters here are kinda ignorant. No offense. Plus, this wasn't a show in an opera house somewhere.
@charl1121 similarly in music. If the accompanist does not play, and you continue, it counts as a mistake. This is the foundation, and it doesn't matter how many times a week you practice.
I LOVE how at the very end, she's pulling off pirouettes like she isn't even TRYING to pull them off anymore. Pirouettes are just happening, regardless of whether she wants them to or not. LOL...LMAO.....
