When I was Snakehead fishing in Mattawoman Creek in my kayak, I caught an 84 lb. Blue Cat. It was barely alive swimming through the moss near shore. I grabbed it by the mouth and took it to Slavens. We weighed it but didnt realize at the time it would have been the state record.

You can get catfish that big and bigger just below the dam behind the Philadelphia art museum where the long steps are. I have pictures in my phone. Also bass, walleye, crappie, shad..... Tip: that monster that broke off was because your drag was TIGHT loosen the drag a bit and reel down, that will set the hook better, also smelling them will.
