I caught Mellow climbing up to top of her cage right when I was about to turn off the light..SMH

I’m no bird expert, but do you think raising the cage a few feet would encourage her to stay in the cage at night?

try laying a towel or blanket over the cage at night, my bird loved the top of her cage she would just sit up there all day but when night time came she liked to have her cage covered up or she would just scream and pace at the bottom of the cage
