I used to love wading like that. The angles on banks and weed clumps is so much better.... but then I saw a six to seven foot gator in my favorite pond. I from south GA, and we got a lot of gators. All of my go to fishing spots have gators.

One time I caught a fishing rod when I was fishing off the dock I got snagged and I thought that I could barely move it and I reeled and I thought it was A big metal stick so when I asked my dad for help my dad pulled it up as a Rod and reel and it had shells on it and I didn’t pay attention but maybe it had crabs it has all the shells and I think it also had oyster

Hey I’m a new binge watcher of ur videos and so far lovin it so keep it up and yeah snakeheads have generally poor sight so more times than not they swipe at the lures but miss resulting in the snags you get it’s similar with the stripers we have in Massachusetts they are curious and get close to the lures and get snagged a lot

It does count if you snag a fish. Almost 100% of the time when you snag a fish, is when it attacks and misses your lure/bait. Fish usually attack their prey by swimming up to it, engulfing it into their mouths, then swimming to either the left or right in a matter of seconds. The turn is what gets the fish snagged. I’ve experienced this when I caught a dogfish. I snagged him in the tail, but the bait I used was in its mouth, which means that it got the bait, but missed the hook, then got snagged as it turned.

I wonder with your pond that you were trying to do that they came out and talk to you about would you still be able to do the pond if whatever fish you caught you kept them in a 12-day quarantine tank which could probably be one of those really big water totes with a very large air bubbler and filtration system and then be able to transfer them into your private pond would that be okay with the state and you could still film it to be able to let your viewers see
