You know that feeling of when you stepped on a snail as a kid and then cried for half an hour because you actually loved that snail? That snail was such a unique individual that absolutely deserved to live and not to get stepped on. But then when you grow up, you learn to stop yourself from thinking about the snails. You ignore the love you have for all living things because it would hurt too much otherwise. Well, i kinda believe that that kind of love for all humanity is somewhere deep in most of us, just suppressed. It's really sad that it feels empty when it's expressed. It's like when your mom tells you you're beautiful, you just don't believe her because it's her. But she sees some beauty and in time you learn that there are other people who also see it. Even though it felt empty, it was true and full of meaning. Could this not also be true and full of meaning?

I smiled internally but I'm too competitive that when issued a challenge I will do everything in my power to complete it successfully 😂😂

yes i was thinking this too! also dogs still work to herd animals and in rescue operations etc. :)
