22:56 the guy on 14 tee who slap cut that tee shot into a 1 handed finish is me. Went on to make birdie, I promise. I just wanted to defend my honor…. Anyway this here’s some elite level golfing content
That was a picture finish...a photo finish...ah, uhhhm. I think the phrase he was going for was 'That was a picture-perfect finish.' The approach on the final hole, sailing over the trees with 8 feet of spin-back was epic, truly jaw-dropping! Well done John!! They say; pressure makes diamonds (for the record - it also makes rubble), in this case you rose to the challenge. [Golf clap...]
This video made me so much more comfortable in my own bad golfing lol if Erik and a golf band executive can struggle this hard it gives me hope that it happens to everyone
Ping is a great brand. My first irons I was fitted for were Ping i25s white dots when I was 20 and played them for 11 years. I also still have a Ping G5 5 wood that i got in 2007 (my ole baby). My original grip has my right thumb imprinted in it from so much use which I swear helps set up and control.
Were you both playing in spikeless shoes? It was refreshing to watch the human side of two very good amateurs on a course that would humble most of us without any cameras. Great video!
Hey Erik great content as always! By the way who makes your golf pants and shoes looking to get some stuff for the off season. Thanks a lot keep the videos coming! Time for another episode of dress code!
Mizuno is a publicly traded company, 78% of which is owned by the general public and institutional investors. It is not a family owned company anymore.
Don’t hold it against a guy who can float between crowds. This channel and its staff are being rewarded for years of great foundational work. Good on them.
At least the owner of Ping had some humility. Golf’s good at bringing that out of folks though so that shouldn’t be too surprising. He didn’t spike his club into the turf 20 yards off the green like the owner of LAB did, so he’s alright in my book.
Seriously? Maybe you’re missing the bigger point. Random Golf Club offers golf products at fair prices and have inclusive events that come to you. All that aside, RGC, Adventurers In Golf and SKRATCH, are a proper, independent, and respected media outlet. Through this video alone, we met ping CEO, saw his game. Learned briefly about his brand and we vicariously witnessed Pinehurst 2, the rate of the 10 courses. Where else can you encounter that juxtaposition ?
"Heads up putting" I've tried it, and it doesnt work for me. Theory is anything else you do like throwing a ball, shooting..is that you're looking at the target your aimed at.
So you just randomly started the video on hole 7? I'm not even going to watch this ffs, the CEO of Ping is not enough to hold my attention if there's no competition. What a waste of time. I'm also going to thumbs down the video lol
Not sure it’s possible to putt from distance with any consistency not looking at the ball. Some of his putts seem to prove that. Normally love these vlogs. This was boring.
