potential rules every match loss you open 3 legacy packs every 3 wins you get to open a secret pack of your choice if you lose 3 in a row you get to ban a card (from both pools but you don't have to have pulled the card) if you get 5 wins in a row you get to open a bundle deal. Also to increase variety you could say every 5-10 episodes you spin a wheel of the played archtypes and ban one.

Maybe for progression, the loser gets a few random packs of their choice, while winners can construct specific cards? The loser gets more cards that MAY help, but the winner gets a card or two that WILL help.

i wouldn't mind a progression series taking a few of the successful archetypes over the last 2-3 years and adding them to the card pool, i suppose all the sets from 2021-2024 but also allowing them to have a side deck and choice card of staples. it gives cards a chance to breath before being power crept but also incorporates new deck building ideas

Loser gets to open another tin, Winner of 3 videos gets to open a Master duel secret pack of their choice. And just that on repeat.

So an idea going forward involving packs. Since Sam lost this video; he can pick a random booster pack & add it to his current deck to help improve it OR he can decide to scrap the whole deck in its entirety, open a new tin then use the deck convulsion skills to make a new deck. To make it fair, whoever decided to remake a new deck the other person gets a booster pack.

Win is 1 pack, lose is 2-3. So every duel gives both players the possibility to change something.

I love this idea but what about this? You buy packs and then put them in a pool. You and your opponent can choose one card after another to make a somewhat decent deck. However you can choose a main card and add stuff around it that isn’t in the pool to be able to play that card but you can only focus on one character. I think this will be pretty cool especially since the competitiveness is real.

I think the winner should be able to use one of their opponent's best cards Battle City style.

I think for a progression series, you should both be allowed to add cards every episode so that you can progress instead of one getting stronger followed by the other. Maybe next episode you each get one more tin and the loser gets some master packs in master duel. You do something like Dzeef’s series master saga and open some master packs and then some packs from a secret pack opened

My advise: Let the loser of every match pick one of the cards in their current collection, but in line with MD banlist, so as to not have two Fenrir for example. Win three games (in general) and you get to pick any one card , in accordance with the MD banlist.

I have a rule idea for the guy who wins 3 rounds: Battle City Rules where he can take a single card he saw from each duel and add it to his card pool of cards to use in future duels, while making sure the loser can’t use those 3 cards ever again (unless he pulls it again)
