Assalamu alaikum and Hi friends...hope you all are doing good?today also I came with an interesting vlog friends....there is a huge moringa or drumstick tree in my home garden...that variety of drumstick is more tastier than other...it is called"paal murungai"or"milk moringa".....there are many healthy benefits or eating any parts of moringa or drumstick tree but unfortunately my kids does not like to eat the leaves of moringa tree....they like to eat moringa but this is not the moringa season so there are leaves only on the tree...
so I thought to feed my kids these leaves in any ways....so I thought to make moringa or drumstick leaves string hoppers using drumstick leave's juice...They told me that"they can not eat rice"for lunch so I tried to feed them a balanced diet using my these moringa recipes however...I made two side dish recipes to eat with these moringa string hoppers...first one is my favourite "dried fish coconut milk gravy"made with Srilankan dried fish...you may use any kind of dried fish for making this gravy but"katta"is special for making...
this dried fish coconut milk gravy is made with dried fish,some vegetables and coconut milk took from my home garden.....that gravy is matching perfectly as a side dish for string hopper,pittu,bread,rotti etc....the next recipe is Srilankan special "pol sambol"or sprats sambol"etc...specially in Srilnaka,we are making pol sambol with some ingredients using oue grinding stone...but today I made this pol sambol bit differently....like I made this sambol using fried sprats and sambol also a tempered version too...
These type of sambol will not be spoiled quickly so you can keep it long time without getting bad without fridge or something...and also you can use this sambol recipe for taking to your trips or some thing....this pol sambol or coconut sambol also perfect side dish for string hoppers,rotti,bread etc too....so I am so happy that I feed my kids in a healthy way so I thought to share my recipes also with you...I thought it will be worth at least to some of you...If your kids does not like to eat rice and curry in their daily menu that is okay...do not force them to eat what they do not like to eat....rather than think always in any ways"how can I feed them a balanced diet"instead "how to feed them rice"what ever we can give them to their main food time bit they should be very healthy as balanced diet.....

Ingredients:
FOR MAKING COCONUT MILK DRIED FISH GRAVY:
*Oil-1 TBsp
*Mastard seeds:half tea sp
*Fenugreek seeds:half tea sp
*Onion-half
*Green chili-as you taste
*Capsicum[optional]
*Curry leaves,pandan leaves
*Tomato-1[med]
*Garlic-2 cloves[optional]
*Dried fish[katta is perfect]-some pieces
*Salt
*Turmeric-half tea sp or as your colour of turmeric powder
*Pepper powder-1 tea sp
*Chili powder-Half tea sp
*Curry powder-half tea sp
*Cumin powder-hald tea sp
*Coconut milk 2nd extract-Three quarter cup
*Coconut milk 1st extract-as your tatse
*Lime juice-optional]
FOR MAKING FRIED POL SAMBOL:
*Sprats
*Oil for frying sprats in to golden brown colour
*Mustard seeds
*Onion-1[med]
*Green chili-as your taste
*Curry leaves and pandan leaves
*Tomato-1[med]
*Salt
*Chili flake or chili powder-as your tasse
*Lime juice-as your tatse
