Have you only ridden one type of motorcycle? What is it, and what's holding you back from trying something else?

currently own a St.Twin but I tested both a Speed Twin and St.Triple (standard height) yesterday; want to test the new Ducati Monster and maybe the Aprilia to make a decision. For the Street Triple I would go for the low height version which is hard to test unfortunately.

First time to the channel, good stuff. Seen that dealer on other videos and agree that checking out other types of bikes is a good thing. Ride safe

all riding this bike did is make me want to trade in the cruiser for this, but I don't think the wifey will let me do that because this won't be near as comfortable! thanks for stopping by! -c

Bought myself the 2021 Street Triple R in February of this year. Got my license last June. First bike was an 05' RoadKing. Glad I bought the triumph. I've put 2k miles on it, but if I hadn't been switching between the cruiser and it, I'd have 2k more already. Love the sound of the exhaust once you give it a lot of throttle. You hit the nail on the head about it feeling like a bicycle. The breaks are worlds better than on the cruiser. Almost too much stopping power. I almost did my first "stoppie" lol. Good review, subscribed from TN.

I hope I mentioned it in the video, but because I wasn’t too familiar with the area I was riding I didn’t go nuts on it. I feel I could have taken a few more chances had I known the roads better. it’s a fun little bike, that’s for sure. thanks for watching and subscribing, and welcome to the riding community!

I got mine just a while ago (december 2021), as new deliveries for 2022 looked very bleak. Still I got the first 100 km on it in more or less questionable weather….. I just needed to ride. Coming weekend (as weather has been atrocious, but seems to be better) seems to be an opportunity to ride it some more. I want to get it past the first 300 miles at least, so I can go to 6000 rpms….. So far it is a great bike. Only wishing to be able to open the taps somewhat more…… But a few good days and then the break in period is over and then I can ride it without any restrictions apart from my own 😉

@@Zweefduiker nice! Watch those brakes! They work extremely well. Also, I like the gear braking it has, I've driven it on roads just to see if I could go without brakes and it has no issues. But one time I almost did a stoppie, back tire came off ground, I came to the stop sign a little too quick haha

great impression! you definitely got the hang of the naked bike faster than I did lol. I still think about the speed from the monster I test rode.

don't get me wrong, I was still nervous as heck when I was on it, but I did get used to it quick. the speed, though ... totally addicting. -c

I’m typically a cruiser guy but would switch to a Triumph Triple in a heart beat. Great looking bike and seems to perform well. But, I would have to have both the Triumph and my VSTAR. Just could not give my old bike up.

I wish I could get this to complement my Voyager. my wife currently has a V-Star and she said the next toy we buy will be hers since the Voyager is our newest bike. -c

I've heard great things about the Street Triple - once my local dealership gets back to doing Demo Days I'd love to take one out for a ride.

I'm not sure what this dealership did during COVID, but I'm just glad they're allowing test rides again, especially since it's a couple hours away from where I live. -c

My bike history: Yamaha SR125 - learner cruiser (125cc max under uk law for learners). Decent enough, all 125s perform about the same (excluding 2 stokes) Kawasaki GPX250R - sports tourer (limited to 33bhp for 1st 2 yrs in UK unless you are over 25yrs old). Better than a restricted 600 Bandit or similar of the time, and much cheaper to ensure. Generally a good bike to own Suzuki GSX600F - 2001 model sport tourer. Great bike for general riding and motorway (highway) miles which is what I did a lot of. At the time couldn't stretch to a CBR600F or Thundercat, and the full fairing was more appealing than Hornet/Fazer/Bandit. Rode a ZZR600 loan bike during a service one time, which was generally a better bike; but other than slightly sketchy finish (bolts seize an rust), was a good bike. Harley Fatboy - rode a Heritage Softail and sportster 1200 on a couple of trips to Vegas. Suzuki was in bits in the garage by then, when I moved house I sold it and put the money towards the import HD. In the right moment, the HD is the best bike I've ridden...but I live in the sticks, lots of tight, twisty, gravel strewn, single track roads....I spend as much time fighting the bike as loving it

I went from a Yamaha V-Start 650 to my Voyager 1700. it was a big jump for me and I stil feel as if I'm not entirely used to it despite the fact I've put on probably 7,000 miles since I got it.

I’ve owned my Street Triple R LRH for a little over a year, and I still talk about how great a bike it is to anyone who would listen…and to some who don’t!! Hahaha!! The Striple is a great bike to cheat on your cruiser with. 😜

Ride safely at the end of the video and riding without gloves at the begenning...isn't there a problem ??
@moto_989
@moto_989 3 года назад
at this time I only wore gloves out of necessity. I didn’t like wearing them because I never felt as if I had a good feel for the grips. I wore them at the end because it was colder than I had anticipated. but now I have gloves I wear all the time.
