That was a nice visit at Chris’s new pond. I watched him build it but when he was taking you around, you brought out a conversational side of him that different than when he is driving the camera …thank you Geoff
That was sweet of you to profile Chris's new pond. I totally get why he doesn't want a gate (locked or not) at the new pond. And that view of your lake is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing this, Geoff. (And a hearty Hi There to Jackie.)
The pairing of you and Chris works out well. You both are very vocal but you allow each other to talk more on your respective channels. Get a lot of fun give and take, head section of pond a nice rock garden, good idea of digging out a little. That way the minnows in the head section would have a place to breed o feed the bigger fish, unless like Chris says it dries out into a big mud hole!
Chris just keeps building ponds...I think he is addicted to them. Surprised you didn't ask if he had a baby alligator to give you for your pond. Just a small one. Like a pond warming gift.
A couple of good guys having a friendly discussion about life on a farm also both are professionals in their own field. LetsDig18 has a beautiful farm in the making. The mirror reflections on your pond Mr Bealy are fantastic. One thing I notice on the bush in NC are the bird calls - so pretty.
Dr. BG, "Who is it??" You only know one Professional!! Your question was way toooo easy! Your pond is looking AWESOME!! Time to get the dock finished! BIG thumbs up! Take Care, Jim
I knew it was as soon as I heard Chris' voice. But I was already guessing it was him. FWIW, I don't require a response. I think it's enough if you at least read the comment. And if you don't, that's okay too. You get too many comments and you just can't read them all. Hey, Chris! Are you ever going to pick up that ladder you left laying there?
At 11:34 looks like a fish rolling, that's encouraging. Water looks better now that silly dye has dissipated. You may have to get it turfed, the seeding does not seem to have worked out really. The mid "catch" pond sounds like a good move for sediment. Just need to sort the dock out now, before it starts maturing or rotting as some would call it. Be well. 😉
Here's wishing all of the members of Bealy Good Farm a happy and healthy Memorial Day weekend! Can't wait to see the geese swimming around the big lake, chasing the a**es of any and all who invade their domain.😁
Heck that spot right in the center of the dam would be a great spot for my 21' travel trailer walk out my door and there's the pond grab the fishing pole and extend the canopy and love life
There’s a story behind that. I flew the DJI drone out there to film it , and it crashed into the lake. Then I flew the RUKO drone out but the SD card wasn’t formatted. Then I flew it out there again and on the way back it clipped a tree and when it landed, the SD card had fallen out 🤣🤣. It’s the Bermuda Triangle island. Lol
You have to share that beer jerky with Chris. Two things What's the plan for island And have got a plan for the new and improved dock? Ask the fish guys they seen lots.
Well done video! Thank you for putting the time and effort into it. Clearly you can’t respond to every comment but I think you all do a pretty good job with that.
Nice little episode video. A tour of Chris's pond with some interesting commentary. A look at some mail gifts and of course a look at the Bealy Good hole in the ground tons of $$$$ was thrown in. Worse than a boat when it comes to that factor. Pond is lookin' awesomely beautiful Mr. Bealy. I didn't know that gators go up as far as North Carolina. Or was Chris pullin' your leg on that one ?
Hey Geoff & family!! That really is a nice pondChris has built at his place huh? Once it’s full with grass around it,,, nice! Your pond!!! Wow! I can’t believe how many calm days you get where that water is like glass. We really don’t get those days. Maybe part of a day,,, but. Your pond looks awesome all calm like that!! I would just HAVE TO jump in there!! It’s probably a nice temperature for swimming already!! The water around here is barely over 50 F. I have swam in that cold of water, but,,,, brrrrrr,,,, it literally hurts. I didn’t look close enough, but hopefully you have some more grass germinating on the rocky side!! That was some rain an I can see it literally washing every seed down into the pond!! 😂 That really sucked. All the best to y’all, Eh!!
