I really hate the 1 long screen thing for dashboard and radio, I've always hated it in Mercedes and now bmw is doing the same thing... VAG has by far the best interior design of the German top 3 at this day and age.
I thought the The new E class was bad until I test drive a new 5 series. Horrible design inside and out. I cannot believe what they done to the good looking 5 series.
This car looks best in Frozen Black colour. I saw one in a parking lot. It's not my taste but it looks kinda good to me. We'd love to see your review on the new GR Yaris.
Nice Review, but on this one I have to disagree with Aziz, I really love the previous two 5 series models very beautiful cars. This one looks a bit boring and I hate the third front light around the grill, looks stupid. A very bad trend to put some more lights on the front. Have a great day guys, drive safe.
Oh and by the way, wtf does that sansatec plastik leather do in a 5 series. You can put this in a 1,2 or maybe 3 series but a 5 series leans more into the luxury oriented segment. And I believe it is a pretty expensive car. What the hell @BMW
If someone would offer me 1 billion dollars on the condition that I have to drive this car I'd turn down the billion dollars. BMW fucking sucks nowadays. Long live the pre-Bangle era!!!
I really don’t get the hate. I’ve been driving the 5 series for years and I’m looking fwd to have the i5. I think it’s a beautiful car in and out and very recognisable BMW.
Another good review, Aziz. The ‘ethos’ of the 5er; resident in the E28 - the 528i (centre-mounted exhausts, for instance) …. then the M535i & M5; the E34 and the E39; I don’t find in this (Three-time 5er owner). But, we are in different times, i guess …. 🖥️ 😄 That ‘visual’, about a 5er should find its way back as it evolves. These should have come with darkened tail lights. ….. I am somehow reminded of the 7th and 8th generations of the Euro Honda Accord when I take a critical look at them. A brand fan, still.
I think we are just expecting a bit more with the gorgeous F10 and G30 models. This doesn't look bad it just looks meh compared to previous models. Where this model really fails hard though is with the ridiculous price.
What’s BMW trying to do with that soulless vertical daytime running lights? Looking awful. What about 2 series style positioned upward and backward headlights? BMW no longer has confident masculine looks unfortunately. As a bmw lover , this 5 series completely disappointed me.
Live it looks great. No frunk is a fail but it is still a mixed platform… and I don’t really use my frunk on the Model S. Looking forward to the touring (wagon).
