Great job Doug, always want the checkers, but P2 twice in the 40's is still a great accomplishment. So are these videos. Doing great things for the sport and hopefully your channel explodes and gets more people involved in this type of racing. Watched you and Landon on Floracing last weekend, always tuning in when you both race.
Just found your show . I’m a former pit crew member on late models . At Orange County Speedway. You are a talented driver with good equipment. The best of the best compete at South Boston in Virginia. The Burton Brothers , and Denny Hamlin ran great there. I would rather watch late models, then the boring Cup races.
Mr. Air, you are one of the most talented and cleanest drivers that has ever driven a late model stock car. Any owner would be proud to have you as their driver because you take care of equipment.
As long as Annawreck Slum plays the invert perfectly every week, the first 25-30 laps of every 2nd feature are gonna be blown by her blocking the faster cars while she tries to hold on for the win. Kevin Piercy needs to get rid of the invert or make it like the top 4 or something like that. She is not gonna qualify in the top 4 so the racing would be much better. After last week, I am hoping that she is banned along with her punk husband, so there is no need to run anyone into the wall or use the bumper to stop her from blocking faster cars. Good job Doug! Keep it up. Hopefully you will join us in calling for changes to the invert number or getting rid of it altogether!
I doubt she'll be racing much more this year lol, but it's not Kevins choice. If you run two races a night, it's a NASCAR rule that you have to have at least an 8 car invert for the second race.
@airdoug Yea I do not agree with your spotter Doug, he should really shut up if he is going to spit crap like that. HIckory is rough, way rougher than when this coat of asphalt was put on it 376 years ago and so the harder you run in to 3 up top, the more the car is going to coil and shock bind. YOU ABSOLUTELY DID THE RIGHT THING DOUG. That was driving with class and its seriously missing from this generation of racers. Im really thinking about sponsoring yall at some point, I was saddened to hear you berating yourself during the post race.

@@AirDoug Her crew sounded a little ticked but maybe that will help them learn you dont have to use the bumper every lap and especially dive bombing with no drive off.
Some more observations. You are a threat to win at any track you run. Drivers know, the 88 car is one that they will have to contend with. I think back to Florence and how you ran away from the field with very little effort.
Been meaning to ask...h0w fast do you all go at Hickory? I actually live in hickory, about 5 mins away from the track. Hopefully make it down the next time youre there, would love to meet you all!

Great job Doug you showed some great showmanship out there and I wanted to maybe do a race suggestion, theres a track in Pensacola Florida called 5 Flags Speedway but they don't do LMSC races. You could maybe get a ride for a big SLM or PLM race there, would love to see you race there once or twice and its a great track to run at.

@@AirDoug ah man it’s a little track no one big races there but a lot of nascar drivers come and practice on it, Kyle Larson was here a week or two ago
