Lan Zhan never really had a Father in his life yet he raised A-Yuan so well, because of him A-Yuan grew up to be a well respected, kind hearted and honest young man. Sizhui wouldnt exist if not for Lan Zhan. Many people believe gays shouldn’t raise children, that it “damages” the child, WangXian and A-Yuan prove them wrong. Shizhui ended up very happy and well adjusted. There are straight couples that abuse or neglect their children. Is it really such a crime for a child to grow up happy and healthy with two Dads or two Moms?. I love MDZS in all its forms. Happy 1 year anniversary The Untamed!

I don’t think many people realize just how significant it is for Wei Ying to just casually touch A-Yuan’s forehead ribbon in a sign of affection without getting punched into next week by someone. That really sets in stone that Wei Ying is his dad

Sizui is a perfect representation of hope in the darkness. He was there for both Lan Zhan and Wuxiam when they were at their lowest, he is a born Wen, whose clan was evil, yet Sizhui grew up kind and open hearted. He was through so much pain and loss, yet found a loving family. His character is so important and beautiful
do you remember in episode 1 when wei ying in master mo's body played the wuji music using a leaf and when sizhui heard it, he told the other guy "did you hear it? the sound. it's familiar" and that guy replied that the tune was awful and stuff like that but for sizhui it's very familiar to him that he somewhat heard it before. i think while lanzhan is taking care of him in that 16 years without weiying, in those years, a deep longing for weiying, lanzhan would just play their song to ease his pain and sizhui would always hear the music while growing up that's why he said it's familiar to him. even the smallest detail got me deceased. and i think that's what this series makes it stood out from all the series i've seen in my life, whether it be a bl or not.
This is a late reply but according to the novel it was Wei Ying who played it for him. So it shows that he was starting to remember his past in the Burial Mounds.
@@DaGamer_Bee you mean when lan zhan figured when it was him? i mean yes but what i meant in my comment is how sizhui is somewhat familiar with the tune in the series. this scene wasn't in the novel (if i can remember) that's why i really appreciate the series for being sooo creative that's not even far from the novel itself.

I agree. This story is about true love but this is different from other love story even if they portray true love as well. The meaning is really deep, It is really from the soul. I couldn't even explain in words but The untamed really touch my soul. This is really amazing.
Like the scene when Lan Zhan and Wei Ying buy the lantern with the rabbits on it and after Lan Zhan gives it to Sizhui. Sizhui looks at the lantern and Lan Zhan surprised. Surprised as if Lan Zhan had told him about the meaning of the lantern with the rabbits. And I find it so cute to think that maybe Lan Zhan spoke about his love for Wei Ying and his memories to Sizhui!
wen ning is more like a brother to wei ying than jiang cheng. he followed and supported him as if he owes his life and willing to give it to him.he fully understands what is really the meaning of a family regardless of their clans and blood!..
I that is because he is younger than him so he looks up to him plus the fact that he showed him kindness when the whole world didn't but in Jiang cheng's case there were age mate so he sometimes feels like he was his competition like any normal sibling

the drama honestly was beyond enough for me in spite its less romantic actions between them. i didn't even continue the novel since the drama already got me deceased.
I read a lot of danmei novels and I love a few of them such as 2Ha, TGCF and MDZS. However, to me, the most wholesome story is definitely of Lan Zhan and Wei Ying and A Yuan. It's just so wholesome. Plus, their story is dark and light at the same time. Their love is so pure and realistic. I'm never getting over Wangxian and their happy little family huhu

I love how the lyrics just fit so well with each scene and its particular context that’s why I’m extra emotional cos I remember their actual dialogues and monologues (yes i am THAT whipped with this show) and it makes this both more sad and beautiful than it already is
