In this video I try out Mother's Ceramic Clay and Coat kit. While this is not the same as a "Ceramic Coat," It definitely seemed to make the paint nice and smooth.

You're suppose to use the ceramic spray as the lubricant. Directions are on the box.

yeah, I knew that's what it came with it for. You don't have to use it for that though. I've seen a lot of people use soapy water for that part as well.

Soap and water is the best way to do it in my opinion. Because when I do it I wash the car soap it down and clay it at the same time after it’s been soaped once’s and rinse after I do a one step paint correction and then the spray. When I do the coating I charge 1500

I just used this on my GT 350 and used the clay bar and used the ceramic spray as the lubricant. When I was finished I topped it off with Nexgen ceramic coating and it looks great.

I may be mistaken but, pretty sure the clay bar is supposed to help the ceramic detailer imbed/work into the paint/clear coat. Not sure if it will work better that way. Gonna do my 2015 Ram today with the same kit. It has tons of swirls & such. Will report back long as I don't lose this video. Thank you for sharing.

I know one person mentioned that you didn’t follow directions, however I think it’s cool you used the clay bar for washing. I would have never thought to do that. Thank for the video!
