Barns and Nobles feels like an amazing update. All that I feel is missing is finding out how to make the noble's mansion spawn next to villages. The barns can stay out in the wild cuz it feels like a farmer ended up abandoning his farm or maybe was killed or lost. Maybe the barn could be a little more run down but it also works as is
The Vends Not Friends Update. Villages are removed, replaced with malls. Villagers are removed, replaced with vending machines now, and they never run out of stock or try and move away from you or even charge you over a single emerald for anything they give you. As for *getting* emeralds? Breaking a machine drops some for you, so any machines you refuse to use become payouts. Plus, a busted machine stays there, and a golem associated with the mall (like how they can be associated with villages currently) are able to fix them, including refiling the emeralds, though they're a tad slow to do it. I bet a lotta folks would love such an update.
honestly this one just kept getting better and better, first the nicholas cage one seemed cool, then the corn one came and hit it right out of the park, THEN BARNS AND NOBLES?!

The cheese update is unironically a great incentive for exploration, like, mojang is currently trying to make exploration more of an important aspect of the game, but I think a golden pizza that gives you strength 20, but needs you to go to a variety of structures around the world, is a much better reward than anything armor trims ever tried to be

Although the vote already went through i'm gonna share my opinion. Rage Cage-adds Nicholes Cage just blocks a boss and a structure which is pretty good. Swiss&Bliss-Adds cheese, and surprised me when i didn't see blue cheese in that mod. Soup&soap-Was a great mod with fantastic ideas with bad and good soup with soap that can make you able to break an unbreakable block. Day&Greys-Adds super strong enemies but able to kill with dirt. Sweat&Threat-Nice idea of sweaty after you run for a minute, but also a bit weird. Cobs&Lobs-Added some nice food that is alsp a weapon, and has a great idea and design to it. Update-Adds signs for nothing and is great to troll your friends by having them find the difference. Barns&Nobles-Nice name and when you hear it people with think you added barns&nobles but nice mob types and a new boss with a new items that blows up iron golems. With that recap my favorit is... Soup&Soap
The Tic and Tac uptake: adds tic tacs that you can eat. If you eat too many of them in a short amount of time you go crazy and get speed and jump boost. There is also Tic Tac guns that you can shoot at mobs and will give them the same effect if they get shot too many times
Soup&soap is incredibly funny and very useful but I'm gonna have to go with the Barns&nobles update because of a lack of new structures and fightable bosses in the overworld
Idk if I like the soup or the corn one better, but I think I'd choose the soup one if the soups had like 5 sips (uses) because you craft them with golden apple after all. And every sip effect would be randomised of course
I have an update: The All the little things update part 1 and part 2 (maybe part three if this takes long) like, not just a meme update, but an actual update they should do. Basically everything in Minecraft, even the little things get an update. First they start with each biome, and give them a new vibe that keeps the same ideas but makes it more fresh and detailed, like the Birch forest update but for everything. Because the snow biomes got a change that fit much better with the brand new height changes for 1.18, like snowier peaks and being taller of course, while they added powdered snow for certain areas as well. Stuff like that would be great. Then the 2nd part would be features and structures. Like dungeons needing an update, where they become more detailed and a bit bigger with up to three rooms, but single room dungeons still have added detail, but then they keep the original dungeons since alpha/beta and make those rare with really good loot. An update like this would be really great for the game, since we have some of these things for ages.
When you use the soap, make it give a gold nugget when you wash Gilded Blackstone, and give you moss when washing mossy stone and mud, when you wash the roots and washing the reinforced deepslate gives you echo shards or iron bars or iron nuggets
personally i was going to vote for cheese but then i saw the golem wand, but then I realized that the noble needs to be buffed more, so my vote is cheese
Frights & Time: Ghost mobs, Abandoned mansions, Zombie mobs, Timfiolagers (pilligars), The Clock, Potion of the undead (makes mobs zombies skeletons or ghosts), Skeleton mobs, Blood night (spawns all undead mobs and more damage is done), Ghost Cloak (lasts 5 seconds), Twlltwos (owl bosses), Easter egg: If you name a polar bear knarfy it will turn into knarfy, Time Freezer boss, Easter egg: if you name a mob unknown it will turn into a boss named unknown (1% chance for it to spawn normally), and Bone swords.
Castles and parcels Castles include random structures called castles that have princess a boss that can shoot a barrage of flowers, boss 2 prince can summon a knight (reskinned iron golem) boss 3 queen can shoot long ranged potions boss 4 king has a gaint great sword he can swing to damage the player or create earth quakes. Parcels include a mail box witch has random items every minecraft day
I have a new kind of stupid idea it might not break Minecraft but it will break you ( so take three of your friends and yourself, Everytime you all place a item on the ground rather stairs or a block, change pov with a random player, the catch as your pov changes you controls don't you control your player but see through anothers pov) I have no idea if this will end up in a video but I'll try
I think the days & grays update would be a bit cooler if the gray mobs goal was to corrupt the entire world and make it gray (youll know if they won when the sky turns gray) but once you kill the gray mob, any blocks they corrupted will revert back to normal
Honestly, the Sweat and Threat was probably my favorite! Not onboard with the idea of sweat turning into creatures that hunt you, but if you were to replace that with a geyser or something that has a 10% chance of spawning a swarm like that I think it would be perfect! Though mostly I'm just in love with the idea of a threatening force just disappearing in the water!

Barns and nobles is a great update idea, only thing I (personally) would change is the amount of loot in the vault and increasing the nobles health because right now the vault seems too op and the noble seems too easy to kill, I’d also give the noble an ability to summon iron golems (1-2) as back up once it reaches half health. Overall amazing update idea
The Triggers and Diggers update. Adds guns and slavery, just like old times! Force villagers to dig for materials and harvest crops for you! Starve them. Guns now exist, and one shot to the head proves fatal, even to the Ender Dragon! There's also whips to make sure that your slaves get back to work! Oh yeah, the more they work the more black they beco- My lawyer has advised me not to finish this joke.

The Nicolas cage ‘thing’ made me think of an old mod thing for Skyrim where it just replaced all textures for cages in game with you guessed it *NOCOLAS CAGE!*
Strong and long:springs:can be added to boots to jump higher and has no fall damage when you use it.obsidian armor part:give a little bit more armor to protect your self.stone mace:can swing things around mobs.brute zombie and skeleton:have more strength and heath And take a while to burn can jump higher by two extra blocks and a little bit higher
Mod idea, Dust and Stray update, New pet variants, mud armor from baking mud in a blast furnace, mud pigs, and a new block called the Driftwood, it is a darker wood, almost like a slightly darker spruce color, planks, (cut in a stonecutter,) can be crafted with a turtle helmet in a smithing table to get the Ocean Dwellers Helm, Infinite water breathing, strength, and luck. Also adds a new boss, The Ghast King, a grey ghast hydra, that regrow each head after 10 minutes. So be quick fighting this boss, it spawns in a new structure called The Nether Tower. It is a giant tower from the floor to the roof, and has a core that can be broken. With silk touch you can pick up the hydra core. Can only be broken by a netherite Pickaxe.
These updates always look at random voewers suggestions which are fun and often made with sillyness in mind but it could be fun to see one of these videos by using suggestions out of minecraft critics and other more people that often like to suggest new features
next time you do something like this here is an update idea (bred) fails on tales adds things like the failed flying pig, the failerman, the failed roast, the totally (not) awsome tunic, dirt slabs, dirt armor, dirt tools, new structure called: knarfy's dirt hut AND BRED WITCH GIVES YOU BRED ARMOR WHEN YOU EAT IT (IT'S VERY OP)
I know an update that Knarfy should do. It is the BOSS update. There is three bosses, on for each dimension, the ancient golem in the overworld, the Undead King in the Nether, and the Mutant in the End. Each of these bosses has several special attacks, and when killed, the drop a heart of their dimension, now with each one spereatly, you can make pretty good stuff, but combine, and you'll get the dimensional staff.
As a Nebraskan, I can confirm we have the best corn. Come to the Lauritzen garden’s corn festival! Don’t move here, it raises prices and taxes for the locals!
i had a crazy idea (in the soup and soap update) first of all, make them stackable, then make so you can gice them to mobs. Healing effects damage undead mobs, with the possibility of giving them Speed/Jump boost. Zombies with haste would break doors faster and such. While also bad soup would give them debuff, like withering (And obey the Wither flower drop thing) Mobs that received blindness would lose track of you when you got a little far, and maybe soups could have effects that are not present in the normal potions (Like teleportation suppression, that would make so players and endermans couldn't teleport for a certain amount of time, or a Attack speed modifier that would make the cooldown of the sweeping attack twice as shorter. Could be cool while repairing tools, useless while criting.
The School and Drool update : There are school structures that are not very common, and they are mostly near villages because the students have to arrive on time. If you go inside a school, the teacher (a villager in a teacher outfit) will make annoying villager sounds. The students will sit in chairs and they have tables. At some point, the teacher will start asking the students REALLY hard Math questions, and if you don’t get it right, you will be sent to detention, which is three Minecraft days long. If you try to escape, an iron golem will block you. If you stand still for a long time, maybe three minutes, you will start to feel tired and sleep, when you sleep, you drool, and you can’t control when you wake up. The amount of drool varies depending on the time you spent sleeping. So it could theoretically cover the entire world…

We’re in the sweat and sweat update. You can just take a water bucket. Everywhere you go that way when you begin to sweat you can just place the water.
An update: The Plain and Pain update, makes every single enemy have full protection 255 Netherite armor, and in every plains books you will find notch, who gives you god armor
I think they already explained why they couldn't do that, they would need to add it to both java and bedrock edition which both use different code so it would be harder
Its funny because in the first part of the battle montage he has black bars to cover his health but later you can see the armor bar even though hes probably wearing armor in both. Also the fact that it just doesn’t attack him but the first explanation is much cooler 😂
The flares and scares update, (yes Ik this isn’t a community post but I had the idea and wanted to put it in the comments) first of all the flare, a new item crafted with gunpowder iron and red dye, it does exactly what you think it does, it shoots off a flare that scares nearby enemies away, and it also can do damage if it’s in the flare gun, which brings us to our next item… the flare gun, it’s just a flare gun used to shoot off flares at enemies and damage them as well as having a chance to light them on fire, it’s crafted with red dye all around a amethyst and an iron nugget. With the scares part, there comes some new mobs like the ent, who is a living tree that stalks you in the forest you’re in, making its way to you then suddenly attacking you (drops a tree spirit that can be used for making a growing charm, that helps things grow, maybe like an instant bonemeal but you have to charge it with the tree spirits). Also another mob comes called the cave crawler, which is like a spider that moves on the roofs of the caves you’re in, waiting to get the drop on you and give you a heart attack (which drops a sticky web, which is a throwable cobweb but single use, also drop corrupted spider eyes, that can make a corruption potion that when thrown, gives the corrupted effect, which makes you take half a heart of damage extra, but also gives a small speed boost as well). If you read the whole thing you’re very cool here’s a cookie 😁🍪
The sweat and threat one would be cool with some changes. First, reduce the spawn rate of the monsters and give them a new model. Also spice up their animation when they combine with water. Make it look slick. Then add some new items. Add a multi block shower you can build and put in your house. A portable shower would be cool too. A sprinkler for your yard to run through would be fun. add a washer and dryer that you have to put your armor through. But change the rate at which you have to wash your armor. Maybe 2 or so in-game days. But keep the sweating timer the same. Lastly, you could add some other interaction for when you’re sweating. For instance; maybe traders won’t trade with you if you’re all sweaty and gross. Or if you’re in a cold biome you take cold damage if you’re sweaty. Things like that. If you’re really gunna make a mod you gotta give it some substance.
I actually have an interesting mod idea based off dredge imagine if while in minecraft when it gats dark and mobs spawn as normal but while not directly interacting with them they start scratching blocks or generally messing with stuff like breaking glass or opening doors. They also disappear if they player gets to close unless their anxiety meter fills. This anxiety meter increases as they see more ways that mobs have altered things nearby as it fills up mobs increase spawning or illusions start messing with you or you lose your sense of direction (nausea) and it also causes phantoms to start spawning and become more aggressive And of course dying doesn’t reset this meter the only thing that does is sleep
