NordVPN needs to get their software sorted though. Nord's split-tunneling seems to be broken on different versions. Also if you turn on the VPN it will interrupt the apps that are excluded from the VPN because those apps, even though they're excluded from the VPN, are still forced to use Nord's DNS servers. Also I've noticed an issue with the most recent version of NordVPN's software. Jellyfin seems to run through the VPN even though it's excluded from the VPN as different features are broken. Like the feature to pull metadata, turn off the VPN all together and it works.

Why is no one talking about how impossible it is to cancel auto renewal of Surfshark? Literally had to block them with my bank. Go to the app? NOPE. Go to the page in to subscription settings? NOPE! No way to turn it off your self. Open a ticket? Chat button doesn't work! (yes i did log in and tried multiple browsers IT DOESN'T WORK.) Email? (Good luck finding it in the first place!) Send an email, day 3 haven't gotten an answer. If that's not a straight up scam i don't know what is.

*NEVER* pay Nord with a credit card ! If you use a VPN for privacy, this ensures they link all your traffic to your profile to sell it as coming from a verified user. That is really bad. Ask them why they were banned from using Paypal ! It was all over the complaints and refunds. They are not covered by any Data Privacy Laws or consumer laws, so good luck to you.

Netherlands consumer rights laws provide buyers with certain protections and guarantees whether a product is purchased in a store, a Dutch webshop or from a retailer based in another EU country. Across the European Union, a standard set of rights are in place to protect consumers. Every member state must offer the same ‘minimum’ level of consumer rights. The European Commission does not set a maximum level of protection, Which allows countries to deviate if the level of protection is greater than the EU standard. Such is the case here in the Netherlands where consumers often have extended rights. Both the Dutch government and the EU have laws which protect consumers and agencies that are responsible for monitoring businesses to ensure they are abiding by established regulations. EUROPEAN CONSUMER PROTECTIONS In 1999, the European Commission issued Directive 1999/44/EU on the sale of consumer goods and the guarantees which sellers are required to meet. Some key protections introduced by the directive include: The seller is responsible to the purchaser when there is a lack of conformity at the point the product is delivered. In this case, the seller is responsible to bring the into conformity either by repairing or replacing the product. A consumer has two years from the point of purchase to notify the seller about a lack of conformity. For example, the condition of the product after a certain amount of use does not conform to the quality that would generally be expected for such a product. The seller is responsible for bringing the ‘defective’ product to the expected level of conformity. When a product ‘guarantee’ (warranty) is offered, it must be stated in clear language along with the manner in which a claim needs to be submitted and the name/address of the guarantor (i.e. usually the manufacturer vs. the seller). The term limit for a warranty can be greater than two years but never less. NETHERLANDS CONSUMER RIGHTS ECC NEDERLAND is the local ECC branch in the Netherlands. The website provides clear information, in English, about the rights of consumers in the EU (including Dutch consumers), whether the buyer is purchasing in a store, buying off-premises or buying over the internet. In addition, the organization acts as an intermediary when a disagreement arises between a buyer in the Netherlands and a seller in another EU member state, Norway or Iceland, which remains unresolved. The ECC Nederland website answers questions commonly asked by consumers, such as What information does the seller have to supply in-store? Who is responsible for a product bought online? When does the purchaser have a right to a warranty? In which circumstances can a contract be cancelled due to a faulty product? OTHER DUTCH CONSUMER RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS CONSUMENTENBOND: This is the Dutch consumer rights agency. It provides detailed information about consumer rights in the Netherlands, gives suggestions on ways to resolve an issue with a seller and offers services such as mediation if attempts to reach an agreement have not been successful. KLACHTENKOMPASS: This is an online forum established and monitored by the Consumentenbond. It allows a customer to post a dispute they have with a company and for that company to reply (either committing to corrective action or explaining why the claim is denied). Communication between the parties is visible to all and becomes public record. DE GESCHILLENCOMMISSIE: This is the Dutch complaints board where a customer can file a grievance against a company located in the Netherlands. If you run into problems with a company. You can also report your problems to the consumer information portal "ACM ConsuWijzer." There's also a website called "ScamAdviser" where you can report a scam as well.

Move from Nord to SS 2 years ago. SS is crap. Constant DNS leaks due to firefox dns servers. , letters from carrier, have to bind SS to QBits to be safe. Leaveing SS in 7 days. Also, SS slows downloads to 5megs down. Claim they dont.

You should change your channel name to Nord-Surfshark news. Funda is very simple, HIGH COMMISSION = HIGH SHILLING !!! Its very sad to see these VPN review space is filled with all crap based on how much cut back they get. I don't often see these guys are doing review of IVPN, Mullvad, Windscribe, Proton, oVPN etc. Nord, Surfshark, Express are flashing all the way here
