At 6:25 did you use some kind of mod or control I don't know about to re-orient that observer? It looks (and sounds) like you used a double-clicking mechanic that's also used in the crystal pvp community. Probably a silly question I'm just very curious what you did there.

No mods, that's a vanilla feature. If you both left and right click at the same time, the block will get destroyed and placed in the current direction your looking, without needing another block to look at (only in creative of course).

to be picky though, your cart didnt go all the way out of the frame. ez fix though i presume just make the door 2 blocks wider and hide the last 2 blocks within the frame, and time it correctly again
