Little quick tip for when you are starting a craft (for example granite slabs) you can select the recipe, and press F and click on the + at the same time to add granite quicker
The problem: If you place a foundation to high on land the NPC will not be able to see a bed (no matter if you have stairs or so), If the foundation is low enough the NPC will see it as ground and will have a bed. For you the ocean will not been seen as ground so it will never find a bed (Also building on a flexwood foundation will not work for a village (as far as i know)) Conclusion: Make your platforms as low as the ocean / land and then place a bed this will normally fix the issue (for now). You can also do this is stages to look what level works for you!
Hey Kaz, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this video and how much I enjoy every video. I want you to know that every hour or less I watch your videos Like right now you posted 47 minutes. You showed me how much I have seen your videos and the tips, and it have gotten much better. So please keep posting every day like you do.
You should make one of the sides of the dojo a landing pad for planes because I heard they’re going to add steering wheels to make like car’s and stuff in the future.
I really hope they add "pull from chests". As in when you are crafting something at the workbench that you don't need to have the resources in your inventory, as long as you have it in a chest close to the workbench
The Third Floor Should Be A Huge Village Upgrade Unit. With Chests Filled With Items That Are Required to Upgrade a village. So You Could Get A Max Village Whenever you want. Also You Should do a max bench one too!
Use the upper rafters on the top floor of the dojo to make display wall for ornaments or all plants. Almost like a museum in the rafters or a floating botanical garden.
third floor should be a mass production area with maybe 5 of each bench, mostly used for mass smelting so you could add inaybe a timelapse of the farming you do for iron and copper
would make for some cool content and maybe include near death content from the cave adventures. top room could include maybe 5 smelters 5 lumber mills 5 stone breakers and the side with the balcony should be open for easy access
Yah what a few others have said...you need to add a path from the road to the floating island to give the illusion of land. Cause they can only spawn on land. I was thinking though if you build on sea level so under the water you should be able to build the path and not see it but still have it work for spawning. Adding a suggestion for the balcony...just make sure to add the curved points to keep it symmetrical. The thing with Japanese architecture is that it is all extremely symmetrical...so like those curved points need to be on all points other wise you will notice it doesn't flow properly.
Maybe the 3rd floor could be for Weaponry room where you store your weapons or food or even maybe a place for all the other weapons that are about to break then repair them if they add a repair bench but maybe it could be an extra storage
@Kazify you could try make a boat to travel from your island base to the mainland the other thing is you could possibly add some support beams to help make the balconies look a bit more secure.
I know that it’s not really the theme of the village you are going for but if you stack four of the pleasent park brick house corners, it creates a beautiful pillar maybe it would fit in future builds
Dude! My comment from yesterday....try to get the villager by using the back out method to get the village to be recognized as a village and quick talk to the villager before it goes to glitched village.
Not sure if its possible but with your ocean base, please try placing a bed on the ocean floor or a rock insode of the square, to see if it will allow villagers.. my desert base did the same thing. I had to place beds on the actual ground to count toward the village
you should make your village into diffierent sectors like one area as an idustrial district one as a farm and ranch and one as a city kinda thing. But your Lego world look crazy good!!!
Hey man, i think it would be so so cooo if you build like a zoo up in the too, you would be able to farm animals and it would look insane! I think if you do have the balconies you can fill them with animals. If you do end up making this it would be much appreciated if you put a monument for me in the zoo! You dont have to but i think it would be cool, have a good day much oove to your lego world!!!
Somehow I built a base on top of a cave (which is on top of a grassland mountain). My bedroom is the entrance to the cave. NPCs didnt want to stay but a hard reset fixed it. Its something to do with the location of a base for sure.
