So I decided to give one of the shortcut cornhole bag break in methods a try and bought some sack relax online to give it a shot. I had recently bought some blacksheep carpet bags and they were pretty stiff. Check the video out to see if this method helped soften up the bags and get them playable sooner. The way I did it that worked great was just put some hot water in a bucket put a cap full of fabric softener in it. Mixed it up and put the bags in. Squeezed out the air and put a weight ok top to hold them down. Let them sit for an hour. Threw them in the washer and ran a rinse and spin cycle. Turned the spin down to low. Then threw them in the dryer for like 15 minutes on low heat just until they were mostly dry. Came out perfect.

I put my new deadheads in the wash with fabric softener then put them in the dryer on high heat with a towel came out amazing super hole friendly after 1 go around

I did the same thing with the sack relax and then after that I used a half a cup or a half a cap of downy same procedure went well. Not on the same bag on the next set and it worked well

I put all my bags in the washing machine with detergent/towels and a dash wrinkle guard for a quick wash. I then put them in the dryer with towels on low heat for at least 60 minutes.

I agree with Robert with the wrinkle guard. Just a bit though like 1/2 cap at most. I quit using conditioner and softener all together especially on carpet. The conditioner completely changed a set of carpets I had. They were way faster. Plus it takes so long to break in a good carpet bag to begin with. If you think you have a carpet broke in after like 25 hrs your maybe close to halfway to have it broke in correctly. Wrinkle guard or just a warm water soak then throw them in the rest of the way is all I will do anymore.

Toss Sauce all day!! OG/Carpet Muncher/Nuked!! No worrying about "dime size" nonsense.. just add the scoop of sauce to the water and let the magic happen!!

What about just throwing them in a front load dryer with no heat? Simulate lots of throws?

I put fabric softener on mine, threw in the washer with towels then put them in the dryer with towels and regular heat. No problems and feel great!! Did this to my all slides and game changers works great

I find the Game Changers break in best just au-natural on the boards. they break in quick, quicker than other bags. Everything else, I do about the same... wash, dry, throw.
