LOL ...Operation Warpspeed should get credit for vaccine development? Why? They developed vaccines in UK, Russia, China, and India with zero Warpspeed. Private companies did what they always do .... create new products to fill a demand and where they can make money from it. Operation Warpspeed had almost nothing to do with vaccine development or the process of it. It would have happened no differently than it actually did .. with or without WarpSpeed. Chump was a miserable failure on virtually everything he did over the 4 years of reign of gross incompetence and criminal behavior.

"Operation Warpspeed" consisted of Donnie trying to buy the rights to vaccines so no other country could have them.

I am in no way a Trump supporter, but to be fair, I believe Ms. Makki was referring to the "effort" to have the vaccines available in record time deserved a Nobel prize. That probably would have gone to the vaccine developers, not Trump since The Norwegian Nobel Committee is responsible for the selection of eligible candidates and would confer to recognize the proper recepient.

I think you're wrong. Because in your argument, the premise is that republicans and Republican strategists are operating in good faith and working with actual facts and reality. I think it's pretty evident that nobody in their ranks has been doing so for a pretty long time now. Republican strategists in our current climate focus on how to get and maintain power above all else, and right now, they are able to capitalize and weaponize lies, misinformation, propaganda and divisive rhetoric, because that's what their base eats up. If you're saying she doesn't know what she's talking about/what she's doing because you expect her to come from a factual place in good faith, then you're the one who doesn't understand what she's doing, not the other way around, I'm afraid. Republicans aren't exactly beating down doors to hire "strategists" that want to enact policies and solve problems. Republican policies in general are largely "no", as David mentioned, and are statistically less popular than progressive ideas/policies. Their base is shrinking, which is why they've focused so much on gerrymandering and restricting the vote. She's doing exactly what she should be doing if her goal is to continue to obfuscate and misdirect, to keep the base they do have angry, loud, and most importantly, more focused on identify politics and divisiveness than on actual policy, facts, reality. In that way, I'd say she's doing a really good job.
