There's a huge difference between jail and prison. They are not the same. Also, not all prisons serve the same food. Even in the same state food can be very different.

As a kid I used to mix canned corn with chocolate pudding. Lol everyone thought I was crazy and maybe I was. But seeing you eat the corn with the brownie reminded me of that

I remember being in jail from 1912-1918 and the food was a pretty good and accurate presentation. The food is much better these days for sure!

In prison you’re not mad that you have to make your own spread. Because you made it. You know whats in it and you got to do it yourself. And it tastes bomb!

The only reason I think I wouldn't survive in prison was because of the food. I'm a very picky eater, so max like 3 days I would last. Bur after watching this and seeing what they serve, I might just barely make 1 month.

I can’t believe some people believe that jail should be “rehabilitation”. Because you did something to get there so that’s your punishment, and for the people who get wrongly convicted or something, it must suck being in prison with these real life criminals getting punished for something you didn’t even do, justice for y’all fr 🙏🏾🙏🏾.

Working in a CA prison for 9 years and going, from 2015-2019 they got some pretty good food, things like: hot links, eggs, cookies and cake made in our main kitchen, and a lot of the desserts came from stores getting rid of stuff like Home Run Pies or other baked goods. Then the 'healthy' meal plan took effect. It is much more nutritious but dessert is now plain yogurt, other foods like oatmeal and beans and salad take a larger effect as well as 'soy meat alternative' instead of beef. So better for you, but not better tasting.

Fun fact:Before Execution you can choose any food you want because in ancient Greece there a prisoner Before Execution he want to choose a food what he wants but the soldiers didn't accept him so he was executed Without Eats and drinks After the execution he came back as a hungry ghost so this is why the prisoners should choose any food they want before execution

Non of this food from the 2000's and 2010 were served in the jail I was in! Commissary mostly junk food and prison had the Ramen. You rather be in prison then jail, food is better and you sleep better!
