It's called respect and humility. He doesn't look at a traditional recipe and immediately start thinking about how he can do it better than the millions who came before him. He focuses first on mastering what is already great about whatever food it is.
Just enjoying my usual nice and calm cooking video from Andy when Joshua enters and is just screaming at me 😂 That's a very interesting contrast of personality's there
thank you that I'm not the only one!! I respect the hell out of Josh, his knowledge and all, but I believe tiktok got to his head a bit and the editing just got cringey bad. weird. hope Andy doesn't go/develop that way
Holy moly. He was nearly insufferable in this appearance, I have never seen him before. If my enemies read this, they know how to torture me in the future.
I've been following Andy for a few years now and was blown out that he mentioned Western Springs Speedway. As a kid would attend the races in the 50s and 60s with my dad as we drove up from Hamilton for these Saturday night events. Little did we know our family connection to Western Springs as a whole. It wasn't until the late 80s that we attended our family reunion and the Western Springs school hall that we found out about our family's connection to the whole area. It turns out it was our family's farm and that the stream flowing from the Springs to the bay is even named after our family as well as Mill Road is named after the flour mill we owned and our steam ships moored in our stream took provisions to Thames for the gold miners. The family donated the land for the Zoo where there is a family tree planted to commemorate our family's contribution to the people of Auckland. The donation of land also includes the school and the Motec Museum. The original family home is an historical home in Greylynn but I can't remember where exactly as I only visited it once during the family reunion. So thanks Andy for mentioning Western Springs Stadium.
@@bingusworshipper My problem with Josh is that he isn’t humble. His most popular content is his showing how much better he is than a teenager working for minimum wage. I also hate that he refers to himself as “Papa”
Andy is very kind and humble. I like that. His mannerism is appropriate. I love and respect both of these two for them to keep it REAL. No fluff no flop! ❤
Chef! Your American food looks delicious! You always cook from commitment and the heart. The perfect golden brown for all three dishes, the tater tots are a vision, the wings are picture perfect. Last, but not least, those gorgeous corndogs. Must add the plain yellow mustard is the perfect and only dip (I said what I said) warranted for those dogs! Thank you @JoshuaWeissman for sharing your new food lab and keeping our Andy safe. Much love to Chef and Babe. Thanks to the Crew, great job 👏🏼.
@@TheMeditronore ida even makes some tater tots with onions(they’re super hard to find, mostly only small grocery stores have them) and they are awesome, I bet Andy’s are way better.
I just followed Andy's recipe for the corn dogs and they turned out perfect. While it has been more than a handful of years since I have had one, this is perhaps the best ever. I used the Costco extra long and very tasty hot dogs.
As a Buffalonian, you nailed the chicken wings. A lot of places outside of Buffalo coat the wings in flour making them breaded which is 100% awful. For the hot sauce you need Frank's mixed with butter. The only issue is the ranch. Blue cheese is the way in Buffalo.
completely different foods one's a hotdog the other is a sausage in the US sausages and hotdogs are different and UK bangers aren't really liked in the US due to them being a bit bland and not having much seasoning (compared to other sausages) but Italian hot sausages are a big hit in the US.
"Ive got an american accent all of a sudden"... i feel that. I happen to adjust my accent on the people that surround me. Love the vid again. Cheers lad. Love the content
I'm laughing so hard because if Andy isn't imitating an American accent. My closed captioning is messing up what he's saying cuz it doesn't speak Australian 😂
@@andy_cooks It would be Muffuletta, Triple-Cooked Chips, Reuben Sandwich and Buttermilk Pancakes with Crispy Bacon & Whipped Butter. That’s some of my favorites but everything on the book looks amazing. I’m still learning and looking for the ingredients so I can cook it next time.
As a native of Buffalo, the home of the wing, this stunning yet inevitable betrayal of Blue Cheese in favor of Ranch may endear you to the south but it has not gone unnoticed.
@@patrickpet7905 I'm speaking from from someone married into Buffalo. I've been to both the places said to create the Buffalo Wing. They serve blue cheese and mock those who ask for Ranch.
@@patrickpet7905 basically I have been to Buffalo, New York. The place where Buffalo wings are from. I have been to both restaurants where the wings are sought to come from. They don't serve ranch. Sorry to confuse your non-existent brain
@@chazzerbox131 There could be some truth to that, there are recipes for deep-fried chicken in Britain that predate the earliest American recipes by almost a century and the Scots in particular were known to fry chicken rather than to bake it as the English typically did. As with most classically American foods, they are really just versions of what the immigrants brought with them.
I love Joshua!! He is a hilarious and down to earth guy who always makes me laugh when I watch his videos! I just watched him with you at the beginning of your Austin BBQ tour! I love going to Austin to visit my sisters and I always grab some grab BBQ while I'm there❤❤
Great video. Funny how you were worried about keeping Josh's new kitchen clean. The corn dog recipe my family uses add 1/4c honey. I add parmisanio to the tots very tasty flavor.
The reason why people love Josh and Andy's cooking is because they follow authentic, original recipe and methods... not doing some Jamie Oliver interpretation! Continue sticking with the classics! That's why even Uncle Roger make these vids lol OG recognise OG! So happy to see these collabs!
