Keeping this body would be my work.” LOL MJ! So I’m a nutritionist and I always say 75% of your plate needs to come from plants. The biggest rule of thumb is that each one of your meals needs to be colorful. And I mean real colors. Greens, dark purples red, orange, yellow. Majority of each of your meals needs to come from food that grows from the earth. When you go to the grocery store first go to the veggie and fruit aisle. Those middle aisles should take up the least amount of space in your shopping cart. Next is whole grains - brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat sourdough bread, gluten-free pasta, oatmeal. Protein could include tofu, beans, lentils, eggs, fish. Healthy fats, include walnuts, Chia, seeds, flax, seeds, hemp seeds, avocados, olive oil, sunflower, butter, peanut butter, Non-dairy milk, if you get dessert, it could be a chocolate bar that has five or fewer ingredients. It’s not about the calorie count. It’s about the nutrient density of the food. Don’t buy sugary drinks. There’s much healthier sodas out now. Like kombucha, or Ollie pop. Matcha is a great option if you drink caffeine. But water should be your main drink of choice. I get a lot of inspiration from the Internet. Go type in what I eat in a day or look up healthy grocery lists online. Hope this helps a bit!

I can totally relate MJ about certain ways we’re making money that seems like prison, you illustrated it so well that it’s depleting so exhausting that we’re not creating room for peace very true. That’s my reality right now no love life just work work especially as live in China in a very remote area with practically no Africans to hangout with but in time all will be well ❤️ 🥰❤️💖👌
Absolutely magnificent speech I have needed and attentively listened to... Mostly like some cumbersome scripture that a genius/wise interpreter has broken down for me , opened my eyes and ears to comprehend it 🤔 A lot of sense has veeb said in this video... I got it MJ👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽 here in 🇿🇦

1. Organic Exotic fruits and Veggies (why they are good and a conversation) 2. Lamb, Quail and wild caught or freshly caught Salmon 3. Freshly Pressed organic Drinks 4. Colorful comfortable Drinks.
As an empty nester, I don’t care to cook very much. I go to the nicer grocery stores and buy those organic freshly made prepared meals from the deli area. Just throw the package in the toaster oven or air fryer depending on what I bought for the next three days. Fruit that is in season or from California bc they tend to be sweeter (I live on the east coast). Obviously, snacks that are geared to maintain the figure but still feels like a cheat day.
Fresh fruit 🍓🍒🍉🍇🍎🍋🍌🍍🥭🥝🥑 Hummus Oatmilk Bagged lettuce for salads easy peasy Avocados Bread Olives Pickles A bit of chocolate Popcorn for the cupboard ❤

1) bag of spring mix salad 2) cherry tomatoes 3) frozen salmon or tuna fillets 4) steaks or chicken breast 5) rotation of seasonal veggies With those 5 items you can make dozens of different dishes! You’re welcome 😘
Here is a list: *Fridge: Juice of choice: Apple, grape and orange. dozen eggs, half gallon of milk, pound of butter, shredded cheese, sliced cheese, Lettuce / spinach, tomato, cucumber, red and yellow bell pepper, red and white onion, meat of choice, ground turkey, chicken breast, salmon fillet or steak. Loaf of bread of choice. *Seasonal fruit: Banana, oranges, lemon and lime, grapes, berries of choice (Straw, blue, rasp or black) *Freezer: Bag of Mixed veggies, broccoli, string beans. bag of shrimp You can store half a loaf of bread in the freezer and half of the butter as well if you choose. It will store longer.) also if you like smoothies then a bag or 2 of frozen fruit. *Pantry: potatoes (red or yellow) Sweet potatoes, bag of rice, cans of beans, black, pinto and red beans, pasta: spaghetti, penne or linguine A jar of tomato sauce and a jar of alfredo sauce. Oatmeal, selection of teas. Case of water. I also keep electrolyte hydration packs to add to water. *Seasonings: Salt, Pepper, garlic and onion powder, Oregano, basil, Adobo. bottle of coconut oil, olive oil and avocado oil. *Bar: 8 oz cans of ginger ale, Tonic water, sprite, coke or pepsi. A bottle of red, white and rosé. Whiskey, rum, tequila and gin are your staples and will work lovely with your soda selections. You can use these to make a nice drink for your guest along with the lemon and lime mentioned earlier. You can make quick breakfast, lunch and dinner rotations with this list. Rice cooker can handle the rice. A sheet pan in the oven can effortlessly cook some potatoes and chicken or salmon. A nice cast iron pan to sear your steak and in the oven to finish. While you are making a quick salad. Pasta takes 15-20 minutes to boil and the sauce is ready within time. I prefer glass storage for leftovers which can be refrigerated or frozen and reheated via oven or microwave in the same container. Look for borosilicate glass which is strong and can handle freezer and oven temps.
Mj you are so right it's super hard to build on a relationship when you are working.its difficult to get the balance right. positivity peace and love 💛
OMG!!! I'm almost in tears because this HIT HOME!! If you're not good to yourself, how can you be good for others? I'm on this endless cycle of doing too much and failing to achieve what I want. It was meant for me to hear your message. I'm in school getting a master's in mental health. I have to learn (so I can teach others) that it's ok to want money and a better life but at what cost? Thank you so much, MJ, for that word. I just wanted to let you know that you have no idea how you redirected my thoughts. Love you for that!!!
#1. Buy glass food and drink storage containers. Store veggies in the glass containers. Colorful Vegas look fabulous. Large pieces of imported cheeses. Do not store leftovers in clear containers (can’t imagine you having leftovers 😅😅). Pour any juices /drinks in wax coated paper containers into glass containers. You don’t need a lot, just make it desirable. I love you 🍒🍌🧅🥕🌽🫑 18:00
Lots of salad items, tomatoes 3:22 , cucumber, spinach(for iron/energy), carrots, kale. Cottage cheese, yogourt, cheese, and if you eat eggs. Next, lots of nuts ( can also be used in salads). Pinto beans, chick peas, red beans, and all the beans. All these if you dont eat meat. You could also precook some of the beans and freeze it for a quick vegetarian meal in case you want to cook. If you are carnivores, steaks, bacons, hotdogs, etc etc
OMG MJ! I feeeeeeeel this!!!!!! OVER-functioning! That right there was a gem... self-reflection and making necessary changes accordingly is the key to living a happier life. Be intentional and invite happiness. Thank you for sharing this message.

I suggest that you get a deep freezer ( small one up right) get a vacuum sealer and when you do cook something cook a double portion a freeze it. The vacuum seal will make it taste fresh like you just cooked it. And when you have a guest you are meal ready. You will know what it is it (healthy & nutritious) ❤
I love this MJ I definitely agree I work so hard and I feel like I overwork so much to the point when I’m exhausted . I realise I have to relax and take time for myself and focus on my happiness and mental health and the people who matter most to me thank you so much .😊❤
